Love this place! So glad it reopened. Great vibes, sandwiches are awesome and the bartender was super cool and friendly. One of those spots that makes you feel like “you’re home.” Like a vintage TV show. Prices are very reasonable and you could easily spend an entire afternoon here . Highly recommend!

Sandwich was delicious. I’m from south of Denver and it’s hard to find a good sandwich/sub in that area. This is my first time trying this place so my review is different from long time customers. FOCO’s offerings are much different than what we have further south. I was excited about the pickles and the sandwich (Sicilian Kiss). Sandwich was great. The pickles are a bit high on what I can only think is a clove flavor, not bad but a bit over powering. I got my order delivered and all was fine with that. Just a bit disappointed with the pickles is all.

First time I have eaten here and it was great. I like the layout inside and service was quick and they brought it right to the table. My sandwich was awesome, I had the tummy pleaser. Definitely coming back

This sandwich shop has been a staple in town for many years, right across from campus it’s a great stop for both students and locals. I was sad to hear that they might close and excited that someone new bought the place to keep it open.

This place is the best! The food is amazing – they make many of the meats in house (corned beef, turkey etc), the sandwich combos are amazing and pack so much flavor! I also love the veggie burger (made in house), salads and soups! So nice that a “sandwich” place has other options too! The beer selection is very well thought out and the cocktails are creative and very tasty! All the people that work there are so nice and attentive and plus your food/drinks come out super fast! The new owners have done a fabulous job of cleaning the place and restoring it to it’s former glory. I especially love that they hung the old sign from out front right in the bar. PS it’s a great place to watch sports!! Go check it out!

I’m so sad to write this review. I have loved Pickle Barrel for 20+ years. First off the pickles are awful. Like awful. Worst pickle ever. I order a sandwich that the menu says has avocado, but in reality it is guacamole, and it is not the same thing. I don’t know why they changed so much. Finally, we had 2 drinks, 2 chips, and 2 sandwiches, it was $55. I’d pay that for a s great experience, but not here.

Always one of our favorite visits when in Fort Collins. The patio is welcome to dogs. They even have water bowls for them. The food wasn’t quite up to snuff this past visit. Very light on the meat and toppings. About half of normal. Maybe a new cook, I’m not sure.

Gave the new owners a second try. A good sandwich but still a shadow of what the former sandwiches were. My wife and I have been eating at the pickle barrel for almost 30 years. And I wish they could have just duplicated what the former owners did. Still highly recommended just not the same as it used to be.

So happy to have the Pickler Barrel back! If you haven’t had an opportunity to try their sandwiches, put it on your list. The Toonces is my favorite. Try it with a fresh beer from tap.
