Quick trip back to where I grew up and Chicken Annie’s is always a must for the weekend. Must get the onion rings. You can thank me later. It’s a never missed moment.

All I can say is everything is fantastic the service is wonderful the atmosphere is fantastic the food is delicious and you get a lot of it for a great price. There’s a reason it’s been around for a long time it’s a good time with great food.

The portions for chickens strips is good for the price. The appetizer chicken livers was a little small but once again ok for the price. Staff friendly atmosphere great. The 2 stars is for the actually flavor of the chicken and livers. There was none, only a flour flavor from the batter. The batter was very bland and pretty hard and very crunchy but not in a good way. If there was at least some salt flavor anywhere to be found I would have at least went with 3 stars. We have waited to try the great chicken annies for sometime now, I must say sadly, it was disappointing.

First off, it’s good fried chicken for a fair price. But I was still a little disappointed. The good: chicken was hot and fresh with good flavor, and it came out fast. Not so good: the mixed three piece is just two legs and a scrawny wing? The good: sides were served in good portions. The. It so good: the bread was like dry Wonder bread, the spaghetti was bland, and the German potato salad was far too vinegary — it was all you can taste. The onion rings were great, however, and a “full” order was more than two people could eat. Overall, it’s just an OK chicken place with a cool history, but keep in mind this isn’t the original location; that one is up north of Pittsburg.

Got to be one of the best Fried Chicken spots in the country. I got the Wishbone Dinner and the meat was impossibly juicy for fried chicken. If you are a fried chicken person, you must find a way to stop here. PS… any time a fried chicken joint has been in business since before WWII, you can bet they know what they are doing.

Onion rings (non greasy delicious). Cole slaw didnt taste like the original, potato salad almost like the original, green beans were two different colors (cooked and just put in the pan) and the bread was not like the original bread )sourdough. The waitress was very polite checking to see if we needed any thing. The check out was something else. The person checking people out had her two kids there and nobody to help her. We had heard about the food but check it out for ourselves and we will not be going back.

Visited 2 weeks ago on my way to KC and the I was surprised to see that they have doubled their Prices, $10 for 4 tiny whole chicken wings ,, used to be $5.60 just 2 years ago ,, I don’t know why they’re so high chicken prices have come down since last year, but restaurants won’t lower the price, even though they’re costs are now lower than it was last year ,,

Actually 4.5 rating. I love coming here to eat, especially my favorite side Garlic Coleslaw. The service was excellent, food great, it’s our after church tradition when we are here!
