Tonight was my second time at Piccolo’s and it has not disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious (especially the chicken zingarella and the shrimp scampi). The tiramisu is not to be missed. In addition the servers are friendly and attentive. I am looking forward to my next dining experience at Piccolo’s.

A true hidden gem that has been serving authentic Italian food for over 30 plus years in Mineola. With Robert Sr. and another son taking care of FOH and service, while Robert Jr. is now the executive chef manning the kitchen and still making the recipes his father developed all those years ago while bringing his own flare to the menu.

It was so/so .I have wanted to go here for years, after a good review on Facebook I said let’s go. Calamari was too breaded or not enough calamari . Pasta was very yummy, fresh and light cooked perfect and sauce was good, not great. Shrimp dish was over cooked and shrimp was tuff. Veal dish over cooked and tuff.All food was very bland. Lobster ravioli did not taste fresh might be homemade but not daily and Alfredo sauce was too thick for a lobster ravioli, but my kid loved it . Probably better if had a truffle sauce. Desserts were yummy. Oreo ice cream cake , pignoli cookies , and a frozen cream with pistachio’s; don’t remember the name maybe tortoni,but that was wow worthy. Coffee was nice but a second cup would have been nice if I am waiting 20 min for the check. Everyone was very friendly , nice atmosphere , no music when we went around 6 pm. Parking lot with about 12 spots . Nice place but Won’t return.
