Since 2018, we welcome Chef Philip Guardione and his Sicilian kitchen, Piccola Cucina. Philip cooks authentic Sicilian food which is an amalgam of Italian cuisine influenced by all the cultures that found Sicily as their crossroads. Simple, fresh ingredients authentically prepared suit the local environment of Red Lodge. At Ox Pasture X Piccola Cucina, we are at the heart of Red Lodge’s artisan food scene, the locally raised world class beef is featured alongside produce and herbs raised in area farms. We work directly with the local farmers and ranchers to obtain the freshest and most seasonally appropriate ingredients.

Phenomenal staff, very welcoming and attentive to everyone’s needs. Food was excellent, came out hot and fresh. If your looking for a wine pairing they have plenty of options with knowledgeable staff to answer any questions. If your in the red lodge area highly recommend to try it out. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

This food was amazing!! We were just visiting town and it’s the perfect spot to have a cute meal with your significant other or family. I had the spaghetti and my fiancé had the tortellini and both meals were magnificent. If we ever pass through red lodge again I would absolutely come back. The atmosphere is chic and upbeat. They had a great wine list though we chose to have sparkling water with lemon instead because it was lunch time. Beautiful place and beautiful (and delicious) food!!

I really enjoyed our meal here. The staff is friendly, attentive and they hop. The food is delicious. I didn’t ask but the pasta tastes like home made. Such simple dishes and yet so delicious. You don’t need the latest in trendy foods, just good ingredients cooked perfectly and that’s what this place offers. Will be back for another meal.

Very welcoming staff and accommodating to food allergies. Soup of the day was tomato and it was one of the best we’ve ever had. Followed by lovely main with gluten free pasta and finished with absolutely amazing pistachio ice cream. Fully gluten free meal for one member of our group with excellent service.

This was authentic Italian food!! The Spritz was wonderful and so was the gelato and of course the pasta!! The Macchiato reminded us of our visits to Italy. It is hard to find one that good in the States but they have it here!!! Amazing! Also the waiter and those clearing the tables were so kind and friendly and attentive. Can’t recommend enough!! We will definitely be back!
