Excellent location, food and atmosphere. Ate on the patio. The food was delicious. Not over or under seasoned. Had the garlic bread, shrimp scampi, burrata ravioli, and spinach gnocchi. Definitely worth the visit. Will be back again.

Overrated Italian restaurant. The appetizers were great. Then, it went downhill. Service is extremely slow and spread thin. Tables around us were complaining. The entrees were bland or too acidic for our taste, could not finish. Will try something next time I’m in the area.

Food was excellent. It was however unfortunate that one of the meals served was the wrong one. It took about 6 minutes for the correct dish to be served. The main complaint however was that we were charged for something we didn’t order….it wasn’t a large value so was missed when we paid the bill…..Make sure you check the receipt carefully before paying!

Had a really long day and this place made me forget all about it. Great service, fantastic atmosphere, food was amazing, and I got to enjoy it all while peacefully people watching and enjoying the light rain. My server was also adorable, super recommend this place 🙂

Cute little spot that is very elegant and cozy! It is a great spot to try and enjoy some italian cuisine. I had appetizers: brussel sprouts with chorizo and prosciutto wrapped pears. My favorite out of the two is definitely the brussel sprouts with chorizo! For entrees, i tried the bolognese and short ribbed pasta! Both are delicious but i maybe liked the short ribbed pasta slightly more. I had to try the dessert which was the tiramisu. The waiter told us that the tiramisu is made by an Italian elder every morning so it could be had the next day. I enjoyed the tiramisu with a cup of cappuccino. The portion sizes are excellent and will keep you full and happy!

The bread was by far the best part of the meal. Chewy and fluffy and delicious. It was disappointing that a second bread basket cost extra. Everything else was alright. My pesto pasta was under seasoned and the meatball on top looked like uncooked brains. It wasn’t tasty. My friend got the vegan impossible ravioli and he liked it. I got the arugula cranberry goat cheese salad which was fairly well done. The candied nuts on it were delicious and just the right amount of sweet. The shrimp didn’t quite go with the dish but they were well seasoned. I probably won’t return as nothing was stellar but overall it wasn’t a bad experience.

The food was delicious and the vibes were really nice! The price was just a bit high for the quantity (with their automatic 20% tip that also scales up tax and an additional kitchen tip), and more bread costs extra too.

One of our favorite gems in Boston. We visit annually and are never disappointed with the food or service. The best part of Piattini is the patio. First come, first-seated, so plan accordingly.

The service was great: the staff were friendly and informative, and clued me in that I could order a half-sized pasta dish instead of full sized (not an option on the menu as far as I could see). But the food I ordered wasn’t worth the cost. The Brussels sprouts were the wrong kind of chewy. The cacio e pepe with caramelized onion sounded like an intriguing variation on a classic, but there was barely any onion and not nearly enough pepper.
