I came to this restaurant the second time within 10 days because of the staff and because of the food. I don’t care if they have a front door back door side door top door. Who the hell cares! My steak was cooked perfectly my bartender is excellent and hand makes the drinks. Everyone here seems to enjoy themselves I don’t know what the problem was with any of the previous reviews! Some people are just Petty and feel entitled. I work for my money I expect when I spend my money it will be spent wisely and this is a wise choice

We have seen the pictures and heard reviews from locals and believed we were in for a great night but it was far from it. After viewing the prices online, we had high expectations. We should have known when we entered through the back door feeling like the kitchen help and then we were sat at plastic folding table. How do you open on a Saturday at 5 pm(reserved 5:15)and with 4 tables sat, you’re out of bread? If you saw you were out, why even serve a table of 7 the 2 pieces of 3” bread? We all ordered steaks remaining hopeful even though everything was screaming go ahead and drive an hour to something better. Some of the steaks were cooked properly yet mine was over cooked. A disappointing $38 there. While I should have sent it back, it was a day with family so I chose to not make a scene. The flavor was really good for the steak even though they missed the medium rare mark and I didn’t enjoy a baked potato that felt boiled. Next time, we’ll just make the drive elsewhere.

Came from out of town to visit family and we wanted to treat them to something nice. Unfortunately as is the case with all small towns, our selection of places was limited. We chose this place who shares their parking with an apartment complex. This should have been the first indication that we should have gone elsewhere. We walked in through the back door because all indications suggested that this was the door to go in through since we parked in the back due to the lack of parking availability in their equally small front parking area. The place is dark and dingy looking. The restrooms leave much to be desired. You either get a table that looks like it’s from the late 80s or a plastic folding table like we got. The food was ok at best. The steaks DID have a good flavor, but no where deserving of the $38 price. You can get way better at some place like Outback for cheaper! But again , small town and limited choices. If you ask for a salad, you get one in the loosest sense of the word. Lettuce, a couple tomatoes and a couple croutons. The baked potatoes, I’m not completely convinced were not boiled. Oh and according to the person that handled my husband’s review, it is their norm to hand out “complimentary” TWO pieces of bread to a table of SEVEN! What a joke! I guess if you’re local and this is all you have to choose from, my condolences to you. If you are driving though town looking for a nice place to eat, keep going or maybe try Apache Pass. That was our other place of consideration for dinner, which at this point I wish we had made. I will say that our waitress was nice and attentive and one of the main reasons we didn’t say anything about how unhappy we were. But we do feel that others who are more accustomed to a better quality place should be made aware of what to expect when walking though the doors of The Piano Bar.

My wife and I went for her birthday dinner, only because they are not open on Sundays. I am a pickie meat eater, the n.y. strip was cooked med.rare better than I can cook it. My wife simply was overwhelmed with the butterfly shrimp! Both of us being in the service business, the service was Top Gun to say the least!!! Thanks Piano Bar for a most enjoyable experience!! Kudos!

This is a great country and community restaurant. The owners are so warm and welcoming. The beef is locally sourced and is excellent. The owners hand cut the steaks in house. It’s cooked over an open flame grill and finished with a wonderful seasoning. This is a must visit place in Rockdale Texas!
