This is an add on from the last time I visited: First thing I noticed was the front food station was filthy, looked as if it hadn’t been wiped down all day. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was a fail for me. My husband still wanted to order so we did. We ordered pasta bowls. The pasta was very dry and undercooked.

I’ve always wanted to try Piada but I don’t really live close. We happened to be in the area today and I thought I’d give it a try. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be back. I ordered online and picked up my food at the window. There was trash on the ground that had clearly been there for a while. The pickup window looked dirty, from the inside. If I hadn’t already paid, I think I would have just gone somewhere else.

We love ordering this for work lunches because it’s so easy to have a delicious vegetarian meal while those who eat meat have plenty of options as well. Some items were forgotten today, but one call to the store got things fixed very quickly. I cannot praise Chef Kate highly enough – she was incredibly kind and prompt with getting things sorted for us, especially considering this was at noon so I know you all had plenty going on! It would have been easy to brush off my issues as something small when you’re busy, but I appreciate the attention and assistance I received.

I’m thoroughly disappointed, I got a pick up order today. I was enjoying my pasta it was pretty good until I started spinning my pasta and there was a bug stuck to my pancetta. It could have come from the spinach. But either way I’m grossed out and I couldn’t finish it. I was eating indoors. I hadn’t opened the container until I got inside. It was a good meal until that.

Ordered the carbonara bowl. Got not even a half a bowl full for $10 and the pancetta and bacon was missing. Very disappointed. Had like 5 leaves in it. Not worth $10

We went there last week early afternoon. The service was amazing!!! There was a young girl, seemed to be new. She forgot to add my chicken to my bowl, I came back in and another woman corrected it, she was super nice and considerate, even gave us a brownie. You don’t hear enough about good service and this was great service. We will of course be back. That crew was very good.

I don’t like writing negative reviews, but I had an unpleasant experience at this place during lunchtime today. The lady who took my order repeatedly asked me what protein I wanted, every minute, without paying attention to my responses (she was doing something when I talked to her). It was quite embarrassing. Thankfully, she didn’t ask me a fourth time. Additionally, another lady/cashier whispered to my husband and me, making it difficult to understand her questions. So, we had to really concentrate to grasp what she was saying. After I completed my order, I was already tired. I visit Piada at least once a week at other locations, and I have never encountered such difficulty in ordering food. To be fair, the cashier wasn’t rude. But, both of them appeared tired and lacked a welcoming smile for their customers.
