A great place to stop on your back home. No matter we have ordered here, it’s always topnotch. From the coconut curry soup (Vegetarian, w/chicken or whatever your taste-buds crave, just ask),to the special which was enough for 2; makes your eyes roll and your mouth water. Quick and professional service, clean pleasant surroundings. Nice decor.

I just had the WORST experience in a restaurant ever. My husband and I were so disgusted we left very quickly after getting our food. We went to the PHO restaurant in sandy (Pho Viet) and we were served raw pork, rotten and slimy veggies, and when we went to grab forks I grabbed two before I gave up finding a clean one because there was food stuck to them.

I walked in and the gentleman acted like I shouldnt be there. Didn’t say a word to me the whole time. Food was mediocre. Not a ton of flavor. Water glass was dirty. Rice wasn’t cooked fully. Salad roll fell apart very easily. Cook was listening to something loudly on his phone. The gentleman that took my order never returned after giving my food sat for ten min waiting for a bill or….. expensive for what it is and the service….. no tip left

I ordered the salad rolls and only received 2 when the picture had me believing I was getting 4 and for $9, not worth it in my opinion. They were also poorly wrapped and to top it off I handed the guy my card to pay and he threw it down on the counter. I figured maybe he didn’t see me with my hand out but then he threw the receipt down on the counter as well, that’s poor customer service. I’ve had more and better rolls for cheaper elsewhere. Will not return.

Do not recommend this place. It is unclean, the broth is empty with flavor and owner refuses to give any discount or money back when customers come back saying the food seems old. (I watched a customer come back from picking up his order and was denied anything to make it right, especially empathy.) The food seems like it has MSG and the noodles are not fresh. Seems like he makes them ahead of time and warms them up when needed. It’s gross. My kid is literally throwing up today from having it last night.

Do not recommend this place. Very disgusting! Not CLEAN! The 4 glass of cups had mold underneath. When we refuse to eat there the guy told us to get out of here. The man there look nasty! It explains why there was no people eating there

I suggest giving this place a chance even if most reviews say otherwise. I LOVE Pho and I thought it was as delicious here as anywhere in Portland. The portions were of decent size and the broth was great! Lots of onions and large quantity of meat. I added tripe for $2.95 and there was probably 8 or 9 huge pieces which is far more than most other places.

Wouldn’t give me a refund after getting the wrong thing. Terrible service. The man yelled at me an was verry rude. Laughed at me for asking for my money back an continued to try to ignore me an help another customer. First an last time going. Doesn’t even deserve one star. Food taste like cat food, an that’s a over statement

I plan to make this place a habit. The broth in the vegetarian coconut curry soup was AMAZING. It was served with lots of fresh vegetables, Thai basil and pepper slices. The service was friendly and quick.

This place is nothing much to look at as far as decor but their food is excellent. My husband had the house special pho and I had chicken pad Thai. They both were delicious. They are still following COVID protocol, such as distancing, menus under cover and utensils in plastic bags. We are staying in The Dalles for the summer so we will be back for sure!
