This is my new favorite spot for Pho! The soup was out of this world and the shrimp fresh summer roll was exquisite. I will be coming back, especially in cold winter months. This Pho soup warms up your heart and soul to the fullest!

Great foods, here are a few thing we ordered that I noticed, Bun Bo Hue, does not have tradition leg bones only meats of 2 kind of meat beef shank, and flank steak slices over cooked, should leave it rare on top of the bowl, Pho tái meat is cook not rared. Should also add an option (Pho Bo Dac Biệt) Spicy Thai beef salad the meet is over cooked, should have cook it medium rare. Chả Giờ chiên My kids favorite thier rating 10/10. Cánh Gà Tôm chiên good but little bland.

The food was incredible. I had vans in albany years ago and have had a core food memory about their grilled beef entree ever since. I ordered it cause they moved local and I could finally have it again. My fiance had the ginger salmon and loved it , what a great place to try salmon for the first time. I had that grilled beef and it was even better than i remember! Service was a little slow but it is a much bigger venue and im sure theyre just adjusting. They went a little more modern decor than i wouldve liked but my fiance enjoyed the ambience. They have the cutest sign on their wall behind the bar. Finally, good vietnamese food in schenectady.

Van’s in downtown Albany has been one of our favorite restaurants for years. We are so excited that Pho VAN’s is closer to our home. Van’s has the most authentic Vietnamese food in our area. Always fresh, hot, and presented beautifully! Consistently excellent food, and the service is superb! Highly recommend!

As a person who has grown up with home cooked Vietnamese meals everyday, my bar is set pretty high for any Vietnamese meal that is not cooked by my mom. Pho Van’s is a great addition to the Capital Area especially because it’s hard to find AUTHENTIC Vietnamese food that isn’t all the way in downtown Albany. If you’re looking for an AUTHENTIC Viet meal, definitely swing by here.
