i absolutely love this place. i have been coming here for years and always recommend this place whenever someone asks for good quality pho. i’ve got my friends and family hooked! the man (who i presume is the owner) who takes my order each time is such a lovely guy and is super kind. 10/10 would recommend this place time and time again.

The Pho isn’t authentic Vietnamese. Doesn’t taste that good. I asked for “ hành giấm” (Onion slide in vinegar) they tell me that is the side order, which will be three dollar. Wow! They want to take every single dollar. The owner is Chinese, he’s greedy. I would not recommend, and they will never come back here.

If you’ve read any of the other reviews you already know this is the best pho in east county and probably all of San Diego. So instead of parroting everyone else (because yeah, it *is* that good [although I will say their orange chicken is shockingly good; the sauce is excellent and the chicken is cooked perfectly – no obnoxiously overly crunchy pieces here) I’m going to tell you about my favorite part of the restaurant: their service and atmosphere. This used to be my late grandma and I’s favorite place to eat out, and even though she could never remember the actual name of what she liked they always recognized her and knew her order off the top of their head (including the random substitutions she’d request). If I was ever just picking up some pho to take over to her house I’d get a loud and sincere “where’s Grandma?” My grandma died about 9 months ago, and I kind of subconsciously stayed away from this place because of all the memories I had with her there. Well I finally got over it and right when I walked in the door I heard “hey Blake! We haven’t seen you in a while, how are you?” I didn’t think they’d remember me at all, I’m not memorable like my grandma was. They then asked about my grandma and were visibly upset that she had passed. I was genuinely touched that they not only remembered her but fondly.
