Pho State is a hidden gem for all Vietnamese food enthusiasts, and my recent visit left me with a satisfied belly and a smile on my face. The restaurant’s location might not be the most prominent, but trust me, it’s worth seeking out.

Came in and left pleasantly surprised! Service is quick and food is tasty. They have an excellent selection of bun, pho, and other dishes. Prices are very reasonable ($12-13)… Will definitely return!

I recently dined at Pho Sate in Falls Church, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean, providing a comfortable atmosphere for diners. The menu offers a wide variety of options, but my personal favorite was the Hu tieu Trieu chau do bien, a flavorful and satisfying dish. The broth was rich and the seafood was fresh, making every bite a true delight. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. If you’re in the area and looking for a place to enjoy delicious Vietnamese cuisine, I highly recommend Pho Sate.

Came here for late dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant was moderately full. It was confusing when we first walked in as we were not sure if we were suppose to seat ourselves, but a server eventually showed up. The decor and ambiance looks pretty standard for a pho restaurant. We were handed a menu and it is extensive and pretty hard to read. They were better off making an additional page with bigger font. We got a the pork taro rolls, mini chicken rolls and the twisted cruller for a starter and we got the 504 and 407 for an entree. We also got a cafe sua da and soda chanh. The rolls were pretty good. I definitely prefer the pork one over the chicken.

Their saucy rice and egg noodles are consistently delicious.

The atmosphere was great. Everything so clean. The staff was super friendly. The food however was not that good, unless you like rubber pork chops. Presentation was awesome though. Just wished that pork chop wasn’t so overcooked and chewy.

Great food! It was exactly what we needed after a long day. The pho has an excellent broth which was not too salty. Healthy amount of bean sprouts and Thai basil and jalapeños were provided. 1 lime wedge per person. The rare steak and tendon were doled out in moderate amounts. If you are hungry, order the large.

Personally, it’s the best pho in the area because of the sate sauce. Stuff is amazing. I can see someone making the argument that other places have better broth or whatever, but the sauce makes it for me. Parking is also MUCH better than places in Eden Center and both Pho 75s. Now that they take credit card (they used to be cash only), that makes this overall the best pho restaurant in my opinion. N/A on service because rating service at an Asian restaurant is pointless.

For the last 13 years, I’ve come to Pho Satế every time I come to Virginia for business. Yet I’ve never had their pho, so can’t comment on how good it is. The dish I always get is Pho (or Mì) Satế Triều Châu, which is a very unique dish that comes from the Chinese-Vietnamese side of the population. I’ve never seen this dish in America and it’s very refreshing to see it served at Pho Satế.

My new favorite Pho spot in the DMV. Food quality and service here is great. My friends frequent this location a couple of times a month. I stopped by recently and ordered the pork with taro egg rolls, Vietnamese ice coffee, large #1 with an extra side of meatballs, onions and tripe. Now their sate sauce is made in house and is mild even for me. If you love the heat you may have to order extra.
