First time trying Pho Sai Gon at the 6th Street Food Cart Pod. I’ve been missing their pho since they closed the brick and mortar, and holy frick it hits. 10/10

We walked into a beautiful almost elegant dining room. Very surprising to find such a restaurant in the Dalles. Amazing menu with many pages of choices . We all ordered different soups. Huge bowls of steaming delicate flavors. Then onto main course for me is Chicken Lo mein. Absolutely fantastic. Not only beautiful to look at but the fresh ingredients were the best.

This place is amazeballs! I’ve had Pho in many locations throughout the US and this Pho is easily in the top 5. I had the C5, which has well done beef flank in it — and lots of it! The broth is delicious and I’d be happy if they’d let me fill a large travel mug so I could drink it like coffee. The fried egg rolls were a little cool in the middle but still tasty and the fresh spring rolls were yummy as well. I can never soak up enough of the orange fish sauce, so the ends of the rolls serve as cups so I can fill them up for that last bite. And finally, the service was quick and friendly. This is a must-visit restaurant when visiting The Dalles.

The food is good but what I really like is the bubble tea! Soooo….good!! Comes with tapioca and jelly if you want and in this picture I got a watermelon!!! Sooo…good as always. I’ve had their avocado and mango one as well. They were good as well. So if you are in the dalles Oregon area this is a must go!!

My buddy ordered an appetizer and had to wait quite a while for it, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Then we ordered meals and my friend ordered something that was written on a board near the front and listed as a “Special.” When it came time to pay, one of the owners came out and said the written board was a mistake and they wouldn’t honor it, much to our amazement. The food was just ok to me, but when the owner did this to my buddy, we decided to never come back. Big thumbs down to Pho Sai Gon.

I had the stir fried vegetables, tofu, steamed rice and lemongrass. The sauce was excellent. My wife had stir fried beef and green beans, also very tasty. The vegetables were cooked just enough to to still be crunchy, but not so fibrous. Bottom line, is good food for the money.

Pho Sai Gon features a wide variety of Vietnamese cuisine, with the traditional Pho soup in many meat choices and of course the classic Pad Thai rice noodle dish. Their flavors are outstanding, with fresh meats, seafood and vegetables and savory broths. Spring roll appetizers are gorgeous and come with a delicious peanut sauce dip that left us licking our fingers to not waste a drop of it. My only negative comment is that the Pad Thai comes without the traditional crushed peanuts which usually give it such wonderful character and flavor. On the plus side, we asked our server for a side dish of crushed peanuts and she graciously brought us one so we were good to go. The staff were also very considerate of my food allergy concerns, and took every care to be sure that I was safe and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Super hot with no airflow at all. Service was sluggish at best. Food was tasty once it made it to the table. Understaffed is no excuse. Then had to wait additional time for bubble drinks for the kids that were ordered at the start of the meal.plus the tables weee so sticky you arms stuck to them

I love going to Pho Sai Gon; the food is delicious; my favorite is the veggie rolls and the pho . They get super busy, but Linda gives excellent customer service, always smiling through the rush.
