With not many options for Vietnamese food in Santa Cruz County, the Pho Kitchen & Boba Tea is a welcomed addition to Watsonville.

Just to preface the review, this is not based on their food items. Their brown sugar milk “tea” is not good. It tastes like burnt molasses, and there’s no hint of tea flavor. The boba is a great texture, but lacks flavor. However, the staff were very pleasant and offered smiles and kind words. If you want a good boba TEA, this isn’t the best option. 🙁

I come here often, and their food is amazing! Great customer service too; there was a mix-up with an online order I made, and they were quick to fix it. It has definitely become one of my favorite spots in town 🙂

FINALLY! We have waited a long time to have a solid Vietnamese restaurant here in Watsonville. Opening day demand was proof of that! GREAT Thai Tea and above average bbq pork vermicelli. Will be back again…and again!

This Vietnamese restaurant is a great addition to the Watsonville scene. We’ve tried a few of their soup dishes and the broth is authentic Vietnamese and completely free of MSG! It can be difficult to find Asian restaurants that do not use MSG, so this is a huge plus. Their beef short ribs and noodle dish is very well done – meat so tender that it is falling off the bone. Their Thai iced tea (with or without boba) is the best. Their other beverages are pretty good too. The automated ordering makes for accurate and fast service, so this is a good place to go if you need your meal served promptly. I do think the prices are a bit high, but considering the beating the restaurant business took during covid, I am happy to support good local ones. Highly recommend!

Very rarely do I do this but I must comment. The Pho #30 was tasteless, it had no flavor. No matter what I did to it. It was awful. I’m a Viet Nam vet who has appreciated Vietnamese cuisine since 1970 during the time I was employed in San Jose and at lunch many of us enjoyed beautiful dishes of pho. I’ve since moved to this area and I longed for some good VN food and thought I’d found a solution at this place. But no; what a disappointment, and frankly I’m sad to offer my opinion as I want to see more VN food ventures in this Hispanic food kingdom. I want this place to succeed but I can’t offer a positive evaluation based on my initial experience. If you’ve never had a good bowl of pho, don’t compare it to the dish I had (much of it left uneaten). I can’t speak for all dishes obviously. But explore other mom/pop establishments and form your own opinion. Thanks.

The food is delicious and there is a plethora of beverage and entree choices on their menu. The restaurant is very pleasant and clean. The automated ordering service is tremendous helpful, user-friendly, and efficient. A must go place!

Great Vietnamese Food in Watsonville! I got the #26 (PHO DAC BIET). The Broth was very meaty and flavorful. The noodles had the perfect texture and the meats were tender. I also got the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea. The sweetness match perfectly matched with the soft boba. Only negative was the spring rolls. There were hard to chew and were at best, average with the peanut sauce. But Overall, the food was pretty good for one of the only Vietnamese restaurants in Watsonville.

I have to say, I am very disappointed in your service.
