We needed to grab dinner late on a Sunday, after 36 holes of golf. We were starving and by the time we got back to Lihue it was 8pm. Now Sundays are tough here in the island… things are closed or close early. So we were so grateful to find this spot open till 9pm.

Lots of people say Pho Kauai is the best Asian food nearby. I ordered Brown Yasmine Rice with Tofu and yellow curry. The yellow is mild, green medium, and red is very spicy.

We didn’t expect much of this place but we were pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the food. Vietnamese coffee (ca phe sua da) was a real treat since it is virtually impossible to find a place that serves it the same way it is served in Vietnam. We would love to come again.

Amazing place, small but beautifully served and very delicious oxtail soup and pho chicken noodles soup. Team are very friendly and work quick. Don’t confuse with Pho Kapaa. That place is not tasty.
