This place was on a list of must try Pho restaurants. The broth was flavorful and the amount of meat/seafood included was generous. The waiters were very nice and refilled out waters each time it went down from full.

Ordered the Bun Bo Hue which the menu describes as “spicy beef soup.” Much to my chagrin, I was surprised by all of the pieces of pork in my soup. I wish their menu would accurately describe their dishes and not falsely advertise.

Great portions of meat to noodle Pho, fast service, and quiet eating-just the way I like it. This is a no frills ma/pa place with great prices!. CASH ONLY!!

After all these years, this place is still the best. My family and I have been coming here for as long as I can remember (I want to say 20+ years now). The broth is very flavorful and the staff are kind and courteous. Service is quick. Noodles are the thinner kind, which I prefer.

This place had one of the best Pho in San Diego but not anymore. Over the years, their Pho quality has gone downhill, especially this past couple of years. The broth has become cloudy and natural aroma flavor lacking, only covered up by the use of MSG. Taste of the broth has become inconsistent, making every visit a worrisome surprise. They have consistently raised the price so check the menu for updated price. I’ve been coming to this venue for many years but I don’t think it’s worth it now with this mediocre quality bowl of Pho. If you are going to raise the price, raise the quality of the food as well. I don’t like writing this kind of reviews but dinners need to be updated.

Been coming here for over 30 years, PHO is awesome. I have had everything on their menu, the only thing worth spending your money on is the #1 PHO large bowl and the desert 3 colors. I come here at least one a week and everyone knows me here. Awesome service, the decor is old so don’t expect some hipster newly decorated restaurant. It’s basically a hole in the wall, but don’t let the looks fool you!

I’m a pho addict, I travel all around the country always looking for the best pho available. In San Diego, this place is the best! This place is not concerned about the decor, just great service, fantastic broth, perfect noodle and consistent flavor. If you run into a language barrier just slow down these folks are very patient and eager to accommodate. A great place on a chilly San Diego morning for Pho Tai and a sweet Vietnamese coffee, they open early every morning. Not a first date place but a great place to takes your best friend at least once a week. Expert tip: If you like your Tai(sliced filet) rare then ask for it on the side and cook it in the pho broth as you go!

Definitely the best vietnamese restaurant in San Diego. I’ve been to several places offering pho, and I loved this restaurant the most. It is super tasty with a lot of meat in it, and priced very reasonable. Also their eggrolls are so crispy!
