I’m always ready and willing to try something different when it comes to food. When Pho’s Golden Bowl opened up I had to go there and give it a try. I was not disappointed. My wife and I have returned many times since our first visit and plan to keep on doing so as long as they are around.

This is one of Decatur’s gem in the roughs. The food is the reason to keep coming back for. The food is as true as it gets. The atmosphere and decorations are not that inviting, but don’t let that discourage you. If you are looking for true Vietnamese noodles, this is it. The service is not terrible, but nothing to write home about. It’s family operated and the owner’s kids are always there playing video games.

I visited this place last night for the first time. This is truly a diamond in the rough. The food is absolutely awesome. It is very authentic and tasty. From the outside, it does not invite you in, which is the neat part because once you’re inside and eating their dishes, you’ll be sure to go back for more. As a matter of a fact, I ordered lunch from there today. Their Pad Thai noodles are excellent. Also try their raw beef soup. It is thin slices of beef, like roast beef, dropped in the soup raw and the temperature cooks the meat before it gets to your table.
