The food was absolutely delicious, I was incredibly impressed. In the past, at other places, I’ve had phố and bánh mì, which I love, but since I was trying a new place I wanted to try something new. I went with Bún bò Huế Đặc Biết, which was this delicious soup with various meats and a different noodle than phố noodles. I highly recommend it and also highly recommend giving Pho Eastern a try.

Decent prices, smiley faces and quick service. According to our next table neighbor this is a genuine Vietnamese restaurant. I very much liked the gruel dessert and that you can break it down to go, and avoid certain ingredients. I didn’t like 49 so much, there were only 2-3 pieces of marbled meat i was able to enjoy, the others were too chewy or smarmy.

Want to start off by saying service was good/friendly and food came quick. The portions were great as well. The only reason I gave it a 3 star was because I’m extremely disappointed by the bun bo hue. It wasn’t spicy at all. It was simply the regular beef broth then they added a dash of chilli oil on top before serving. If I wanted that, I would’ve ordered a diff noodle soup entree then added my own chilli oil.

We Unfortunately left dissatisfied. Presentation was nice, but upon digging into our meals it just wasn’t enjoyable. My noodles came in broken little pieces and was difficult to eat. I voiced my concern to the waiter, but nothing was done about it. Our broth was bland and needed to be heavily seasoned and some of the meat was tough. The Broth in all leaves very much to be desired. Spring rolls I ordered were on the smaller side and lacked in flavor as well. I’m by no means a food critic and not knocking on this place. I obviously came here to try it out. This is however my honest review and opinion. Place is well decorated and has a chill atmosphere, but something lacks. Don’t just take my word, go there personally and see if it meets your expectations. Everyone has their own take on things and we have to respect that. I really wanted to like this place.

Location is clean and spacious with a friendly helpful team. I ordered phở tái, chả giò, sinh tố dâu (strawberry smoothie) and bún thịt nướng đặc biệt. All were well executed and delicious. 4 stars for service because I had to get up to find the server a couple times for condiments and utensils. Definitely will be back.
