In the early 1980s, our parents made a transformative decision to revitalize a dilapidated restaurant and turn it into a highly profitable establishment. Their vision was to create a welcoming atmosphere and serve simple, yet delicious Cambodian dishes for the local community to savor. Initially, the establishment was quite modest, earning it the nickname The Shack. With only five tables available, the space was cramped and movement was challenging. However, word began to spread, and by the late 1980s, this restaurant had gained significant recognition within the Asian community.

Anything you get is bound to be delicious. You can ask for soup on the side for your noodles or have your noodle soup served altogether. They’re usually pretty busy but it’s definitely worth the wait. This place is a must try.

I had the pleasure of visiting Phnom Penh Noodle Shack in Long Beach and I must say it was the best Phnom Penh noodle I’ve ever had. This place is incredibly popular, and it’s easy to see why. Despite how busy it gets, the service is friendly and top-notch. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant adds to the experience, and I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped in. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend you check out Phnom Penh Noodle Shack. It’s a gem and not to be missed!

This place is so packed. You can join their waitlist on Yelp to prevent from waiting too long. Their waitlist system is pretty good. It tells where you are at on the waiting list, so you can time your arrival accordingly. However, the place doesn’t offer parking space, so you will need to give yourself 5-10 minutes to find the parking spot. There are usually more parking available on the small street behind the restaurant.

Phenomenal. Three of us came by for Friday lunch. At 1pm, only two of their ~14 tables were available. By 2pm, it was just us and a handful of other tables. Service is fast, and the street parking is doable, especially on Sherman Pl. Credit card accepted!

Very average food, ordered their signature noodle, however I was not impressed but little bit disappointed, the ingredients wasn’t fresh. It’s a small restaurant with few seats, hard to find parking, service is very slow.

Talk about a hole in a wall. Blink once, and you’ll miss this place. It’s a quaint restaurant along a busy street mostly dominated by houses and a few random shops. Parking is hard to find, so you’ll have to circle the block a bit.

The wait wasn’t too bad for a Saturday morning. 20min perhaps. So good. Will have to go back to try out different items on the menu.

This is a small busy family own restaurant. Parking is horrible. They don’t have a parking lot so you can only park along the street. I recommend to join the waitlist on Yelp or Google so you don’t have to wait long when you get there. Their business hour is from 7:am to 3:pm and the restaurant is alway packed.
