4/19/23 This is a nice black owned establishment, it’s VERY small the waitress was nice and our food was delivered amazingly fast. The chicken tips with fries was delicious very juicy but a little on the spicy side. The fried green tomatoes were sliced a little thin but piping hot however I didn’t really care for the sauce it was topped with, the jerk chicken tacos were really good and flavorful with lots of meat but it doesn’t come with any sides so basically they are $6 for one street sized taco. The peach cobbler rolls were a big disappointment! For starters they were not hot the peaches were too soggy soft and the wrap was too breaded. It did not have any flowing juices to make it pop but most importantly was it was only like warm not piping hot which possibly could make the difference. I would definitely order from them again and by the way there is an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill which seem to be common these days in a lot of establishments.

The food was on point but the service all around was trash. From the host outside to our waitress. But as I mentioned the food and vibes were awesome. I’d probably just order take out from here instead of dining in again.

This was probably the best jerk chicken pasta I’ve ever had! Once I took the first bite no words were spoken. Straight eating. Their selection of drinks and lemonades were great too. The vibe was there too I definitely recommend trying them out 15 out of 10!!!!!

I came here for brunch on a Sunday and had their chicken and waffles. It was delicious. My brother had the jerk chicken Alfredo omelette and that was really good too. Also, black excellence everywhere. The only thing I didn’t like was that the security guard pats you down when you come in. Other than that, I really enjoyed myself.

I ordered the Salmon Alfredo and the food was 10/10. So was the atmosphere. But the service was horrible. I never write reviews so that goes to show how bad it was! I was finishing up my meal by the time my friend received hers. Our waitress never checked on use ONCE other than to deliver the food and the check. We didn’t receive a refill on water, get asked if the food was ok, do we need another round of drinks, NOTHING! Then It took 15 minutes for her to bring us back $15 in change. It’s unprofessional to be floating around and mingling to coworkers right in front of our table while we’re wondering where our things are. I totally understand some things are out of her control but the least she could have done was give us updates and let us know she was working on what we’re waiting for. After seeing we were frustrated the waitress didn’t apologize or show ANY concern. The gratuity included really saved her because I wasn’t planning on tipping, and that’s very rare for me! I love supporting black businesses but we have to do better.

Phlavz was very disappointing . First of all, let me start by saying the only thing good about the place is our waitress (super sweet) and those salmon rolls. My lobster fries and were super salty and that jerk sandwich Tracy Morris could have used a little less salt too. I couldn’t even eat those fries, but I didn’t say anything. Just took the L. Rudi Huxtable didn’t even get her food at all and it was just nachos. So she just watched them eat and me get hypertension trying to make myself eat those fries. Then the bus boy keeps coming over taking stuff off our table. I wasn’t finish with my lemonade and he took it. The worst part of it all was when we got the bill and half the stuff we ordered was more than the menu says. It’s one of those “watch the bill places. Made me think about that Covid tax Harold’s was charging. Then after bringing it to the waitress attention the manager basically told us to kiss hiss a$$ and wouldn’t correct it. He wouldn’t even come talk to us. He had her relay the msg, but I saw him slipping his friends extra good. The waitress said maybe they just haven’t updated the menu and will tell the owner. Needles to say never again.

Our table order, Long Island flight( not strong enough for me), honey hot wings, salmon Alfredo, fried green tomatoes, side Caesar salad, Jerkchicken rolls. Everything was good except the jerk chicken roll.

The food was really good! The place is really small and gets packed very quickly so get there early (I arrived right at opening). The service was good but extremely slow for such a small place. Found out they have a limited menu for Sunday brunch but still a good selection of things to pick from. Would recommend giving it a try.

I love the vibe of the bar. It is very nice. Food was accurately priced for the location of the bar. I did not like being given a plastic fork to eat my food without a sealed wrapper. I ordered the salmon Alfredo it wasn’t horrible but I didn’t finish my food because my salmon tasted extremely dry and my Alfredo noodles had little to no taste. There were no salt shakers available on our tables either. Our waitress however was helpful and kind.
