Family owned gem. Great customer service, friendly and fast. The food was fresh, hot and made to order. Fresh made brisket on the weekends made in a smoker on site. Phillys are highly recommended and they deliver in taste.

I lived on the east coast for 14 years….Maryland, NJ, and Delaware. There are great cheesesteak places all over. This is not the case in Arizona. Most places that advertise “Philly Cheesesteaks” are nothing like a real Philly cheesesteak. Philly’s Famous is as close as you will probably get. Very good Philly cheesesteak and as close to the east coast that I’ve found. Just order it without the red sauce…..that’s not part of a traditional Philly cheesesteak. The Italian sub is also quite good. I can’t attest to anything else as we only ordered cheesesteaks and an Italian sub. I will definitely order cheesesteaks from here again.

I’ve eaten there many times. Are you usually get a cheese steak soap? And it took me a long time to find this place. But the subs are incredibly good. The people are friendly. They make you feel like family when you’re there. Prices are reasonable. And the food is wonderful.

We decided to check this place out on my lunch break as we had heard great things. We had a young lady take our order who was so nice and told me that I picked the right one (Philly Cheesesteak) as they just want us to taste their meat. She was right it was great. My husband and I both got sandwiches, fries, and a drink and with tip it was almost $50 so a little expensive but so worth it and I still had half a sandwich for later. We will be back for sure!

Amazing food and service! Despite me stopping for a quick to go order both the cashier and the cook took the time out of their day to have a conversation with me. The chef even showed me his tattoo that he got of my name from a previous relationship & talked fondly of his ex. The food was delicious! I always get extra grilled onions to avoid the crunch and they made it perfectly!

We were immediately welcomed with such a warm hello! my fiancé ordered the brisket sandwich recommended by one of the owners and I ordered the pepper Philly which were both SO DELICIOUS! Longtime East Valley resident, I’ve been going to this spot for well over a decade enjoying their food, tipping well and just generally appreciating this unique East Coast vibe that is so lovingly-cultivated at Philly’s, so it pains me a bit to admit just how stale this place has grown in terms of the quality of its ingredients. What once was one of the best hoagies this side of the Mississippi, and a good cheesesteak to boot, is no longer- this place is simply mediocre at this point in its existence.
