I used to love going here when first opened. The owner was wire nice and due to my onion allergies he would clean a spot on the grill for me. Since being back in Pa the last 10 years I tried to go there multiple times and the employees there will not get me a clean section. Wish there was a section that didn’t get onions and peppers on it just meat and cheese. I sure do miss these they are my favorite cheese steaks

the food is awesome and everyone’s very nice. the environment is great. just… 24 dollars before a tip for a 7 inch sandwich, a side and a drink is wild. i get it, the areas priced this way but you can sit down at mario’s down the street and get a beer and an entire huge custom pizza that feeds two-three for the same price and probably take a few dollars home with you.

A great philly cheesesteak! W mushrooms, gr peppers, onions. <$11. I read an article on the wall while my order was prepared that describes the bread precisely... it was perfect. The meat, cheese, toppings were all the right amount. The sandwich was probably about 8-9in long, juicy but not soggy. Server/cashier was very friendly. Great!

Called Philly originals, the only thing Philly about it, is the name and the pictures on the wall of pats. Neon orange wiz is not the correct whiz. As a Philly native in Pittsburgh I drove 40 minutes to this place and was a little disappointed. I asked for peppers in the side and surprised the dude when I said cold. As if it’s not in every Philly Cheeesteak joint. That being said, it was a decent cheesesteak but NOT a Philly cheesesteak. Philly wiz is like a slightly light yellow almost more like a hue of yellow.NOT cheese wiz that served with Nachos. 2 totally different things. My suggestion, take the word Philly out the name.

Friendly staff, short wait, good cheesesteak. I was offered banana peppers as well, a non-menu item that really brought the sandwich together. Good spot to grab lunch.

I had the Tuna sub and my friend the Philly steak. The roll was on was so fresh there was plenty of the meat and an over abundance of lettuce or condiments like others do. The worker’s were so friendly and happy, it added to our wonderful experience.

The food was fresh, made when ordered. They have all the great old fashioned bottled root beers, hanks soda, 1919 root beers, etc.

Opened up my Philly cheesesteak to a disgusting hair. I want a refund I threw this right away and was so excited for it. Unsanitary and gross
