We ordered one chicken Philly and one steak Philly Togo for lunch today. Although the sandwich was decent, it just didn’t wow us. We have heard so many great things about the menu but it was very condensed. We asked the assumed owner why certain things were no longer available. He said they downsized the menu, which I assume is from supply chain issues. No fault to him, but we were hoping to see more variety that we have experienced previously. The inside had zero atmosphere, but the woman working the counter was extremely nice. Our total was just over $18 and I used a $10 off coupon. Honestly, the sandwiches were good, but not $30 good.

Tried for the 1st time last night. Definitely not a fan. Expensive for the potion size. Jersey Mike has a far superior cheese steak for a much better value. They fry the fries in the same oil as everything else and they taste like everything else. Place was clean, cashier was friendly.

Huge thank you to Philly King Xpress for the delicious food at their food truck on 12/10/22. I was one of the organizers of the event. Dealing with them was extremely easy. The food was great. People at the event were raving about how fantastic the food was. If you haven’t tried their Philly cheesesteak you need to go NOW!

I am trying hard to keep supporting this establishment. I really don’t get why the employees get upset and have a stank attitude. The ones that work in the kitchen. First, I only asked the front counter lady to make sure my order was correct. The reason behind my unsettling of this establishment is because the young lady that works in the kitchen with the blonde hair ALWAYS MESS MY ORDER UP! SHE DON’T READ OR CANNOT READ OR just decides she will fix your food, how she wants to. She has no knowledge that some people have food allergies nor does she care. So the cook made sure I heard him tell the young lady that works the register that my philly will have no sauce. He made sure he was loud enough for me to hear alone with another customer waiting. I spent over 40.00 buying lunch for my coworkers and I. Then the young lady who cook the wings that always messes up my order comes from the back just to pretend she checking something on the register to give me a side eye look because I wanted my order correct due to her incompetence. That’s the reason I check my food and make sure it’s correct. Some will say why keep going back? First, it’s black own and black businesses already get a bad reap. Secondly, it never happens if TASHA IS WORKING! BECAUSE SHE IS AN ADULT GROWN WOMEN. UNLIKE THE YOUNG KIDS WORKING LUNCH! If they not kids they need to start acting like adults.

Philly King Xpress catered my husband’s birthday party and I was impressed by the customer service and professionalism throughout the whole process. By far the best experience I’ve ever had with a restaurant. Dave worked with me and made sure I had everything I needed. I ordered steak and chicken phillys, egg rolls and wings. Everything was 10/10 especially the eggrolls. We had little leftover but the food was still amazing the next day!

Visited the store last night. The food was ok..I do not think it lived up to the ratings. We ordered two loaded cheesesteak sandwiches and an order of chicken wings. The menu said the sandwiches were $11.99 each. They billed us an extra $4.00 for ordering the loaded sandwiches. I noticed it after we had paid. When questioned later, the girl at the counter stated that the menus were old and had not been updated. She never mentioned this when we placed our order. Kinda like a bait and switch..is this even legal to do? Never will I return there. I will be calling the manager later to complain about this practice.

Finally tried the Philly King. The lady that took my order was very sweet and friendly. I had the Philly steak with potato salad. I was impressed with both. I will be returning for more. Go try it y’all.
