I went here for lunch. I wanted to try a new sushi place in the area and i’m my expectations were surpassed by Phat Boy. There’s a great atmosphere, the interior design is beautiful. Furthermore, the service was great our waiter was super sweet. I ate the Volcano Roll and my mom had the Rainbow Roll. Both were delicious and I strongly recommend the Volcano Roll, the cooked salmon on top was a savory touch. We also had an appetizer off of the happy hour menu, Salmon Sushi Trio. It was $5 for three and normally it’s $4 for one. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was really good, cooked salmon on top of a ball of rice with a little spicy sauce which we had on the side. I have never eaten cooked salmon like this (aside from salmon tempura) on sushi and I would definitely do it again. The only down side to me personally, was their lack of variety of basic rolls. I strongly recommend Phat Boy Sushi and can’t wait to eat here again.

Went for happy hour. Ordered the cauliflower tempura to start with the Empress as my drink. OMG. Love, love, love this dish. We also ordered salmon trio off the happy hour menu, California roll with real crab, and the Phat girl roll. Also very good. For dessert we ordered the Fried Oreo with ice cream. Heavenly. Ordered fried rice with chicken to go. Didn’t care for it much.

This is unfortunately a pretty mixed review. While the food was generally pretty good, the service was the opposite. Everything took long, from being seated (despite no wait) to receiving our food and the set of utensils we were missing. At least the check came quickly.

Sadly very unauthentic, no taste and just very disappointing!! And the wasabi has no taste and it is super grainy, it should be strong in flavor and smooth and creamy!! What an excuse for wasabi!!

Have visited twice now. Once for a late lunch during the week (taken care by Rachel-not busy) and once for dinner on a weekend night (taken care of by Kiana-very busy night). Delicious food, big food selection, clean, and good service. The first time I almost left because it seem we were being ignored once we were sat dow but I let them know then Rachel turn things around, she was super friendly and attentive after that. We enjoyed everything we ordered including the drinks. We are definitely hooked my daughter came for a 3rd time as well. Can’t wait to go back and try other menu items!
