Oh my Lawd! Hands down the best BBQ in our area and likely the best I’ve had in NC. I’ve had BBQ all over the country and this is my kinda Q. Brisket was moist and tender with the right amount of and smoke. Bark! Oh the bark. I’ve been missing bark because NC hasnt figured that one out yet. The sides were top notch as well. Had the beans and the potato salad. I will be back again and again. Please come and support this local business. You will not regret it!

Brisket and BBQ was absolutely amazing! Potato salad, baked beans, and hush puppies were delicious. Online ordering for takeout was painless. Service was fast and super friendly. Would give 6 stars if I could!

Just heard about the place in the last couple of weeks so, my wife picked up ribs last Thursday. We were very impressed. Great smoke flavor and the sauce complemented them nicely.

My son said, Dad, are you sure you order me the kids BBQ plate. Then showed me this. The okra is for me, but still great portions. Son didn’t want to share either! Will be returning very soon. The lil bite he did share was delicious! Thank you! Forgot picture. Just trust me though and go eat

Hell yeah! I have lived in Winston for 10 years and have tried many BBQ places. This is hands down the best BBQ I have eaten. I am not a fan of the coarse cut, minced BBQ most places sell. I can’t believe that’s considered BBQ. Pfafftown Kitchen prepares a chunky, pulled BBQ that has a perfect smoked flavor. If you don’t like their BBQ, then you probably get your steak from Golden Corral. Green beans were also outstanding. Nice size portions and a value for the money. Entire meal reminded me of what you would cook yourself for 4th of July with your buddies.

Chopped bbq fantastic, brisket also fantastic but over half of portion is fat unfortunately and it’s expensive, slaw is good, green beans very good, macaroni and cheese needs some work, hush puppies very good but the first time I was there I got like 8-10 this time they only gave me 5 (gotta be consistent), potato salad has WAY too much mayo-I had to spit it out. They need a sign out front or else no one will know you are there.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. We went with great expectations, but the ribs were dry and too smoky. I could not eat much. The servers were nice, though. As always, you need to try so you can decide if you want to come back.

Pfafftown Kitchen offers tasty Fried Chicken, Ribs, BBQ and more. My favorite item is the fried chicken sandwich that PK allows you to build it your way… My last chicken sandwich build included bacon, pimento cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo and a huge order of fries. Try one! My family and I have tried nearly everything on the menu and the family pack is big enough to feed 4 and have leftovers. Good job PK. We’ll be back!

I have tried a variety of things there. Everything has been very good. Staff is always friendly. The Cheeseburgers and hotdogs are delicious. Onion rings are great. The BBQ is great as well. Good place to get dinner!
