First time here. Very friendly staff. It was my birthday, and the ladies were very sweet. Sang happy birthday and had strawberry cheesecake, which was yummy. The food was really good too.

First of all, the food was awesome. However, the wait time was really bad. We waited over an hour for our pizza. I realized the place seemed full, but that’s a long time to wait for a medium pizza.

Upon arriving, the decor with strange look more Greek than Italian and definitely outdated. Came across a sign that said wait be seated. But waitstaff yells out to sit anywhere you see a menu. Our waitress was great . She was attentive. We ordered the fried pickles. It came on a bed of lettuce and was a bit greasy. But has a good taste. The food “looks” great and for taste the Chicken parm was ok.. a bit bland for my taste. The critical part of the review was the pizza. It was no better than frozen pizza. The toppings were premade as the crust. Pizza sauce was bland like the parm. The PRice for two came to 53.00. we tipped 20% not for the food but the service. The food didn’t live up to their prices. Biggest pet peeve is that sign saying wait to be seated. We had to listen over and over again the staff yelling sit anywhere. For Petros sake, get rid of the sign!!!!! Petros I will label as a give it a try but you may not come back which justifies the 3 stars

This place has been highly recommended by my clients. We finally had an opportunity to go today. Online says they open at 11am I think the doors opened at 11:20. The cook did apologize for our wait. I figured they were running behind on their prep which is no problem. Our waitress was NOT impressed with us. At first she was very nice. We cleaned up as we ate because we didn’t want to leave a huge mess for her plus we had 3 kids and 2 adults so we needed to have room. As she was pre-bussing our table she was very short with us and had an awful tone to her voice. My kids love pizza but did not want anything to do with their pizza. My husband loves Alfredo but said his had no flavor to it. I had the lasagna is was very good. Our oldest kid had the spaghetti and said hers was good. The bread they bring out is just cold loaf bread.Over all the food could have been made at home for WAY less and made better. It is always nice to try something else. However, we won’t be recommending this restaurant and we won’t be returning.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have eaten pizza and lasagna all over the United States from the east coast to the west coast including Little Italy in San Diego California and I have never, I repeat NEVER had better pizza or lasagna than they serve here at Petro’s! As a matter of fact I’ve never eaten anything at Petro’s that wasn’t absolutely delicious just as it comes, no “leave off this or that”. Their family recipes are excellent! They are gifted when it comes to cuisine! The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming as if they truly appreciate your business. It’s the kind of place I would expect to see on the food network. Anyone visiting Cedartown, Georgia should dine there at least once. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. $$

Had to wait forever for our ticket. Owner/Mgr lady about 71 year old knew we were waiting but we still had to get up and go to checkout without ticket. She didn’t apologize or anything and rather rude. Food ok. Cheeseburger and veal parm. Our waitress was very young but sweet but disappeared for awhile. Won’t be going there again. Sorry.
