I recently moved to Madison and got a coupon in the mail via Welcome Wagon for a free large cheese pizza from Petrillos – went in to get it and try this place out, and they said they don’t take the coupons anymore / turned me away – said people were abusing the coupons / basically accused me of forging it or something? So strange, will never return – plenty of other pizza places in Madison. Terrible customer service – a coupon meant to gain a customer made them lose one…. Backwards!

Deeply disappointed by my meal at this restaurant. The lack of quality in the food and service made for a truly unpleasant dining experience. The vegetables were overcooked and mushy, and the meat was tough and dry. Meat was also of very low quality. To make matters worse the service was slow and inattentive despite many customers. I would not return to this establishment.

Overcharged by $17 on a large order. I called to report and request a refund and they refused. Had to go through my credit card to get the refund and it was not an issue because I was clearly charged more than was listed on the receipt. I would advise to always check your receipts or pay in cash only.

I have been Ordering the pizza from Petrillo’s since they were over on the east side of town. Tasty thin crust pizza. Now with a full menu and Bar. Daily food specials are always great. Several beers on tap. Nice local pub.

Monday I ate a Steak and Cheese from here and while biting into it, I bit a carpenter screw! Yes a carpenter screw I couldn’t believe my eyes! I could’ve swallowed that! I’m sorry but that’s not ok! The person I spoke to on the phone offered the money back and another free sandwich, but seriously I was NOT eating there again. They came back to give the money back but it wasn’t the full amount and they also had the nerve to say “well at lease you didn’t put a bad review on Yelp”! Seriously? What about me, the customer who ordered from you? Terrible! Please you guys are going to have to do better. I could’ve died!

I remember when Petrillo’s first opened in Madison across from my father-in-laws restaurant the Clam Castle. They had the best pizza I ever had & still do. Thank God it never bothered Art when we’d go over there after work and eat. To this day, my sons & I still order from them at least once or twice a week and will continue to.

I used to love Petrillo’s I swore by them, telling my friends that they have the best pizza around. Unfortunately, they didn’t like it. I told them that can’t be right. Not Petrillo’s, but the last two times have left me very disappointed. I am now going to look for a new pizza place to eat. Tonight was the last straw..they take the order, but when I receive it it’s not what I ordered. Like tonight..it was light sauce..they were heavy on the sauce, and as for the other one it was extra cheese and there was regular amount of cheese on it. The crust was all wrong as it was way too thin. I like a thicker crust. The last time the crust was all uneven. Really thick in some parts and really thin in others. Either they have new employees or they changed hands and not told anyone. That’s how different it’s been the last couple of times.

Excellent pizza..thin crispy crust. We love the shrimp quesadillas and burgers. Delicious salads and wraps! Our go to for wings and skins. We’ve been customers for years. Extremely accommodating! Really great, friendly owners and staff.
