Highly recommend using Petra for your next catered event! I used her for my promotion ceremony and it was a hit! She did half size bier rocks, half size open face kolaches (sausage and Muenster, bacon and onion), half size variety of pastries, and my cake. All very affordable. All super delicious!

Pasties and Cakes here are incredible – just as in Germany; and a good portion size is given as well for the money. Brats are delicious and a good value. Have not tried Petri’s dinner options there yet but am excited to do so soon.

This place is 100% a rip off I’ve lived in Germany for 26yrs and this was not even half of a schnitzel. We ordered 4 Wiener schnitzel and fries. The total price was $80.00 then they charge a customer service fee. We paid $16.99 per person very small schnitzel and fries..Rip off!! I never paid that much in Germany and the schnitzel was bigger than a plate. This schnitzel is the size of a hamburger pattie! Will never go there again!!! Definitely not worth what they charge!!

I had no idea that this was a German bakery. It’s currently off the beaten path but will be moving into downtown Leavenworth next month. The desserts I picked up, after they were officially closed, were delicious. We look forward to many visits in the future. Great food, great service, great people.

Staff was incredibly friendly and pleasant to talk with. Prices were worth it not expensiveat all. I spent over 20 years in Germany thought that I had eaten everything the germans had to offer but from Petra’s Imbiss Stube I ate bierock for the first time. Very tasty really enjoyed it and the brotchen I bought. I will be a repeat customer.

my work companions were having a chili luncheon so I decided to bring cinnamon rolls. I ordered a dozen and was really surprised by the excellent service and really great Grandma’s like rolls I received. There were lots of great comments about them. I will get them again. Thank you so very much!

Kudos to me: I actually picked a good day to try this lovely German restaurant. I just wish there were more tables or that the place was a little bigger. I also there were more German restaurants closer to me. The only other options are in Downtown K.C. or drive 33 miles to come here, which I will do on an infrequent basis. The food though, was very good and the service was friendly and spot on.

Can’t wait until this place moves downtown……Not only was the food “SO GOOD!”…. The lady who took care of our every need …..was very friendly and made us feel like we “came home” for lunch. Best dining experience I’ve had in a very long time! .

Okay, so, I’m not a German Food Expert, but I have lived in Germany for over 5 years, mainly in the Bavaria region. I am in LOVE with Petra’s Jaeger schnitzel and Spaetzle! Honestly, I could eat this at least once a week, but I watch carbs, so I need to limit it to a monthly cheat day. Their brotchen is fresh and perfectly crunchy outside, fluffy inside, just the way it should be. Petra and her partner are from different regions of Germany, and they bring their particular culinary options together, so you can basically find whatever you want and I believe they may even make you something special if it’s not on the menu! I can’t say this for certain, but they seem like that kind of place.
