Quality of food here is out of this world! What is this place doing in The Dalles? They serve breakfast, lunch, and brunch and have a patisserie and boulangerie in-store.

We had the la provence benedict (croissant was really good), baked eggs a la francaise, and mimosa flights. All was very delicious. Can’t wait to go back when we are passing through town again.

I love Petite Provence, The Dalles location was just as wonderful. I love the branding with the black and gold exterior. It really dresses up the business on 2nd street. The interior is lovely as well with their signature lighting, tile and beautiful tables. I have been to several La Provence and Petite Provence, all have been consistently beautiful, delicious and clean.

We eat at French cafe’s all over the US and this place ranked top 3 for flavor and beautiful combinations. I requested they substitute the butternut squash for the hashbrowns in my baked eggs and that was a good decision. The bechamel sauce was outstanding and the croissants were light and flaky! Good service as well.

My family and I have been to The Dalles location many times. It is a great place with good French food and pastries offered at very reasonable prices. This location is a part of a small chain of French-inspired restaurants and bakeries. Due to its popularity, there’s often a wait, especially on the weekend, but it is worth it. Generally, it’s well run and the food is of good quality most of the time, although I did have to send back an order of Nortwest Salmon Hash a few weeks ago at a different location. They don’t take reservations and seat diners on a first come, first served basis. Their bakery items are tasty and of high quality.

Driving through on a road trip and stopped here for lunch based on reviews. It did not disappoint…DELICIOUS! We had three of their sandwiches and the bread was amaaazing. The macaroons were some of the best I’ve ever had stateside. Definitely stop-worthy!

Petite provenance is an amazing gem tucked away in a beautiful city. The food is always fresh and delectable. You cannot leave there without a dessert or an extra croissant (they are to doe for). Great service and atmosphere. Definitely a must try!
