We were looking for a local restaurant that was quiet enough to hold table conversation. For this, Petey’s was great! Our server was Debbie. She was attentive, but not overly (in a good way!). Sadly, we were shocked that a price on our yes, “MP” sandwich was $35! I’m sorry, but it was a Beef Philly, nothing special or spectacular by any means.

Been going to both Peteys since the early 80’s. Was a great place until recently. Last experience was at Peteys II in Orland Park. These are my thoughts. Gibsons prices at run of the mill quality. It’s shameful what’s happened since Peter retired. Even drinks on the rocks are up charged for ice. Whomever is running Peteys now should find other work. I had the medium butt steak, cook liked ordered but mostly inedible. Service is sort of good but meals do not always come to the table complete. So, problems with service from kitchen, very high pricing & lower quality. It’s a shame.

Excellent service, good food, nice menu. This restaurant has been around for years and if you try it, you will understand why! Easily handicapped accessible too. Back again! Excellent service and food!

Petey’s in Orland had been a staple of my wife and her family’s life. We went there to celebrate my sister-in-law ‘s 60th . The food quality has gone down and the normal (pre-covid) relish tray and food accessories have diminished or flat out disappeared. The wife and her sister will never set foot in the Orland location but rather go to the Oaklawn location, which still mostly remains similar to the old food quality and service.

The Waitress’ service was attentive and outstanding. The Pan Fried Lake Perch lightly breaded with Flour was delicious. The Salad and Relish tray was plentiful and tasty. My Girlfriend Stefanie liked her Dinner choice as well. This franchise location has more Seating Capacity than Petey’s Bungalow in Evergreen Park. However, this location closes early at 8pm on Friday & Saturday Nights so make plans to eat here before 8pm and call for a Reservation to make sure you can get in. We will definitely be back.

Old, outdated, and they think way more about their food and atmosphere then they should. It was like eating in an old-folks diner stuck in the early 70’s.

Half of the things on the menu were marked market price. The steak and the prime rib look like something you would get at the sizzlers they were tiny, thin cuts. My chicken piccata was bathing in a heavy sauce to the point where it was on eatable . We came in with a group of five and felt very rushed the waitress was borderline rude, she just kept coming back every two minutes to take our order. Made us feel very uncomfortable and rushed. Will not return.

Perch was swimming in butter, charged $1.50 for rocks, $7.50 upcharge for greek potatoes, $10.00 for a small slice of cheese cake when I was already paying for a drink, potatoes and dessert that came with the dinner.
