When I came here I order a plain burger. The idea of medium rare is RAW. it wasn’t cooked. And if you order medium it’s a hockey puck! The cook was very defensive & nasty and wasn’t willing to accommodate.

My husband and I wanted to go get wings on a Monday night because they offer them for $0.25 I tried to call to see if they were still opened to serve I made it ring for like 5 minutes nobody answered so we took a shot and drove there supposedly the kitchen closed at 9:00 We got there at literally 9:01 and they wouldn’t take us We just wanted some wings they could have just made an exception super disappointed. Meanwhile the website said they’re open till 12:00 a.m. I understand the kitchen does close but they could have made an exception

I live in town and I really like Peat’s and want it to succeed. Its a great place to have a drink and some pub food and the look and feel is amazing like a real NYC casual bar we know and love. However since the pandemic they have been not on their game the service is pretty inconsistent, more frustrating than good. Also I love their burgers. It a great place to have a break from your diet and have a burger and fries, but even after asking or euphuizing can I have it cook medium or even more pink they bring it out so over grilled that it is grey to back in the middle.

By reading some of the reviews here and going to this establishment frequently, there are many consistencies in the reviews. There seems to be a consensus about the older white haired gentleman that works behind the bar. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone in the service industry in my life. If you are not happy with your job or the good customers that support the establishment and the community of Bronxville, then perhaps it’s time to grab a blue vest at Walmart or go fold sweaters at the Gap. I have been going to Pete’s weekly for a year. This was the first time I ran into him. Due to this miserable human being, I will never go back. I will also make sure I tell everyone who dines in Bronxville, to avoid this establishment. Good burgers and beers, wings are ok but keep on walking. Plenty of fantastic places that will treat you like a human being. This is very consistent on Yelp and Google.
