The Peter Herdic House Restaurant is located in a lovely old historic house on Millionaire’s Row in Williamsport PA. My family and I went for their Summer Solstice celebration. We were also celebrating my granddaughter’s birthday so we had made reservations (Recommended). The menu has many delectable selections from small plates to large plates and salads. There is plentiful seating on the secluded patio and inside in the luxurious dining rooms. There are also rooms on the upper floors for private parties. Our server was friendly and helpful and our wait time on our meal was very reasonable. A very pleasant summer evening, for sure.

The house was an amazing view to the past and created a beautiful atmosphere for dining. However the meal was disappointing as it didn’t have that “chef” quality in flavor. Salmon was dry on a nest of beans. It looked okay, but the flavors were not there. The chocolate pie was excellent. If the entrees were better it would be 5 stars.

We loved eating dinner here! Our first fine dining experience and it did not disappoint. Our waitress (Olivia I think) was attentive and very kind! We got the Crispy Hen dish and the Spinach Gnudi. Both were delicious, but the pasta and sauce in the chicken dish were exceptional. We also got a delicious creme brûlée!

A very nice restaurant and we are pleased with our experience. The wine, soup, and meals were great. The sweet potatoes with my meal were a little too done, I’m unsure if it was purposefully done that way or not. Either way everything else was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive.

My wife and I dined at the Peter Herdic House Restaurant on special occasions for 25 years when we first arrived in Pennsylvania. The last two occasions we tried to dine there we were disappointed, first by the service and the because the restaurant were out of potatoes(!) So, we avoided this restaurant for the next quarter centuty.

Best meal they on a long time. Shad appetizer is excellent. Scallops with crab ravioli was good. Friends said the salmon and the sirloin were excellent. They gave us dessert menus but then brought the check so can’t say if the ganache torte is as good as it always was!
