Really good bbq. Their chicken is really great. Grab you a chicken pork plate….you might have left overs.

Good food but when you change stuff people know it consistently is key banana pudding has been scratched made which is why I get it but today boxed pudding homemade pudding isn’t sunshine yellow and cookie ratio is way off and you changed sauce on the barbecue chicken it use to taste just like the Shriners sauce but today to much vinegar my baked beans barbecue chicken potato salad and cornbread was excellent don’t get mad and come for me just fix it please and thanks in advance otherwise 5 stars on food

Great food! Grew up on this bbq! It’s the only way to do it!!

The barbecue, potato salad and cornbread were all delicious. Carolina barbecue is hard to find anywhere in the northeast, so I enjoy it when I visit and Pete Jones does it great. The cornbread was flat yet dense, a combination I haven’t had before but absolutely loved. All for about $10.

It’s worth every mile driven and money spent. Pete Jones is a taste of home for me.

I normally have a good experience when I visit but today wasn’t so nice. The young man did not wrap my large tray of bbq nor my bun. He just shoved my food in bag until I asked for it to be wrapped. What’s more disturbing he was management.

It’s always good to me. I’ve been eating there for 50 years and they get better and better every time.

I have eaten hear since I was a young girl when my sister and I would spend the summers with our grandparents. This is a “real deal” barbecue experience especially if you have witnessed the meat being chopped up in front of you. I love the flat old school cornbread (like my grandmother and mom used to make) and the hot vinegar my aunt used to make. I still make a point of eating here when I visit my East Carolina home.
