Food was very good. We ordered the duck, short ribs, branzino, and the scallops with mushroom risotto. In my opinion, my scallops dish, was the best plate. This is a good neighborhood spot. You can tell a lot of locals frequent often.

Had a fantastic birthday dinner for my fiancee with my family. The scallops and mushroom risotto were delicious as were the cocktails, spring rolls and empanadas. The service was excellent and the owner took good care of us! Will be back!

Came to an early dinner. Ordered the 3 course special. Beet and goat cheese salad, fillet mignon with mashed potatoes and spinach followed by creme brulee. Everything was fantastic. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Let us try the wine before we bought a bottle. Will definitely come back.

Persimmon is a really nice restaurant with really good food. Will any of the combinations surprise or wow you? Probably not. But, everything is prepared really well and everything tastes good. The portobello and blue cheese ravioli are delicious (could have had another portion). The duck is cooked perfectly and is very tasty. The crab cakes are very good and the sauce is just scrumptious. The molten chocolate cake and the apple crisp are both solid desserts. A lovely glass of Barbera and a strong but tasty cocktail accompanied our meals well.
