Perry’s is located on Charleston Highway and is right beside a church. This is a family run business. As I walked into the place, the very first thing I noticed is how clean and well kept the restaurant was. The floor was spotless and I didn’t see a crumb anywhere. The dining room is nice, cozy and quiet. The kitchen is wide open so you can see as your food is prepared. In my short time there I noticed how the employees washed their hands multiple times and I was rather impressed by the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the place. I ordered a three piece dark dinner. There was a short wait because the chicken was dropped to order but it well worth the wait. The chicken was crispy, fresh and well seasoned, the macaroni and cheese is so good and I swear it taste like what your grandma makes when she puts her love in it. It was so good. They also have something called “Flaming rice”. It’s sort of like a rice pilaf but it is more on the spicy side. The desserts are homemade. They had sweet potato pie, red velvet cake and chocolate cake. The sweet potato pie was full of flavor, the crust was nice and buttery and the filling had the perfect ratio of sweetness and cinnamon. If you’re on that side I highly recommend you guys stop in and give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

First time ordering. Amber helped and her Customer service was outstanding. The chicken is unbelievably good plain grilled chicken. Quality versus quantity is amazing. Macaroni and cheese was moist and just the right amount of cheese fried okra was perfect and crispy. The green beans were cook to perfection. The red velvet cake was delicious from what I hear it was gone before I had a chance to see for myself. The cheeseburger was great and a nice size proportion.( Reminds you of a ballpark hamburger and fries)

Perry’s Flamming Chicken is out of this world! Wonderful family owned business with excellent customer service. The staff could not have been any nicer. I know the owner personally and I must say they are some of the best people I have met. The grilled and fried chicken spectacular and served with a special sauce of your choice. I tried two of them and the flavors are not what you can typically find around here. International inspired!!! The macaroni and cheese, fried okra, mash potatoes (also with a special blend) were the perfect sides to accompany our meal and all delicious.. We finished with a slice of the homemade red velvet cake. All I can say is Yummy, yummy, I’ve got love in my tummy!!!

Went to Perry’s Gourmet Flaming Grill and the owners and family are so very sweet with great customer service. I was in a mood for a burger and didn’t want fast food so we came by here. The burger was sooo good and my husband got a 3 piece chicken but already attacked 1 piece from his plate so it shows 2 piece dark with mac & cheese. Mine was a burger with fries. It was cooked perfectly! Definitely come by there and support this local small business!
