Recommended by the hotel staff. Was packed for a Tuesday night. Small town, they closed at 9pm but the owner does the cooking himself. Food was awesome (Chicken & Scallops). The staff had it down to a science. Cool atmosphere. Local joint with lots of flavor!! Check it out while your in town!!

Celebrated our anniversary by reserving a table on a Thursday night. So glad we did! Jennifer was our waitress and she was stunning. I had the seafood platter, more than enough food for one person. He had the cowboy cut pork chops and we both very much enjoyed our meal. I also sipped on a margarita and it packed a punch! It can get very loud, it’s a small restaurant and the walls are lined with license plates. Dress and atmosphere are casual. I would not recommend getting the burrito style cheesecake dessert to go, eat it at the restaurant.

This place does not disappoint!!!! The steaks are cooked to perfection just how you like them. The blackened season added to the steak is also a nice addition. The appetizers are fantastic as well. Friendly folks and great food with a great beer selection. What else do you need to go out and have a nice dinner out? Give them a try I am sure you will love it.

This is a home run every time and never disappoints! The jalapeños cheddar bites are spicy but soooo delicious!!! Salads are a perfect size and the steaks….OMG the steaks!!! I had a petite filet and my wife had a rib eye and every morsel was gone! The char from the grill adds the best flavor and whatever the seasoning is just perfection!!!! We both had mashed potatoes and corn as our sides and were good. Cheese cake with strawberries for dessert. It was huge and delightful however the strawberries were a little frozen….it didn’t stop us though! I recommend reservations unless you go between 4-5pm. We have thought about driving from NC to eat here on several occasions!!! Worth every penny!

Food is amazing but they stay crazy busy. Sometimes takes a bit for the food but definitely worth a trip every once in a while. Servers are very friendly and desserts are always good as well.

This is the epitome of a local restaurant. You can tell that almost all of the customers know the staff well. My wife and I both had ribeyes, and they were excellent. The sides and the house salads, however, were very pedestrian.

Where to begin, let’s start with the food: one word- impeccable! I have eating here more times than I can count over the past year and I have yet to eat anything that I didn’t love. The steaks are top notch and I find myself comparing others to the Perkys standard. I have yet to find one that can even come close to Perkys!
