Came in just to pick up the Buy3 Get3 Free muffins. Friendly service. However, the muffins are huge and tasty looking but do not taste nearly as good as they look. Mediocre. We got 12 ( buy6 get6). While our box was being filled with our choices, the manager very obviously cut the sign down for this deal, which was hanging over the muffin case. It was 1150am on a Sunday so maybe its over at noon? For 28bucks and some change was not worth the money. 5stars given to the friendly cashier who assisted us.

Perkins breakfast menu is pretty good. Their prices are very reasonable, and they offer discounts for seniors. You can choose from pancakes, waffles, omelets, muffins, and more. The portions are generous and the service is friendly. The restaurant is open late so it can be a good option for those who need to grab a quick late night dinner.

Not coming back to this place. Went there to get the kids breakfast for dinner as a treat. However my family member and I ordered dinner. Not sure what’s going on, but my rice reminded me of mashed potatoes and our green beans and bacon looked like it came from a can. The pork chops and dressing were dry, and her gravy on her turkey wasn’t moving. My kids ate everything, but I sent my plate back. It’s unfortunate because the staff was nice and the management was considerate. The worst part were the two teenage boys walking around asking waitresses for money and shouting that they owned the building.

This Perkins location is horrible we got there, there was a line there was a guy fuzzing cause they got his order wrong and the people were so rude to him, the coffee is awful they only have one flavor coffee creamer which is ridiculous, the food is horrible this restaurant was not the cleanest it was dirty, the tables were sticky, the eggs have no flavors sausage were not cooked all the way, the stake was rubbery, the children food was a joke box Mac and cheese really. I would never come back here horrible overall.

I had a fantastic experience at the Gainesville Perkins on W. Newberry rd. The atmosphere was superb, food was incredible, and above all the service. Our servers name was Chris and he wrapped up the whole dining experience up with a bow. His service didn’t stop at just common courtesy, but I feel as though he made a personal connection and showed the true example of what it means to be a good server. I definitely will be back; and do yourself a favor and ask for Chris. Keep it up Perkins

I was blessed with a delicious lunch and an amazing waitress. I had the white fish and shrimp over rice. It was wonderful, then for dessert apple pie with ice cream and coffee. Out-of-this-world! There was never a second that I didn’t feel like Ely’s most important customer. I can’t say enough about the service that I received from her. I ask if she was employee of the month and she replied wit a beautiful smile “not yet.” Well, I can’t imagine anyone being a better waitress. I have managed restaurant’s and I am a natural critic when it comes to restaurants and their staff. I was supper impressed with the everything that I saw and experienced at this Perkins restaurant. I will definitely be coming here again and bring friends for my next visit. Thank you Ely for making my lonely luncheon a beautiful experience. We were in town for a ball tournament and wanted to try it out. We waited almost an hour for our food. Food was ok nothing special especially for the cost. Cost us over $80 for four of us to eat. Our waitress was very nice and apologized for the delay. The building was also hot to be in while waiting. Felt like little to no A/C moving air. Would not recommend to visitors.

Worst experience in the world. I haven’t been to Perkins in over years. I expected so much better than how low budgeted it actually was. For one, I had 2 roaches clawing on the table. Might be because it was an old building. But then one of the servers started punching things around and using foul language to another employee. GET NEW SERVERS! OR THIS WILL NOT MAKE IT. WONT BE COMING BACK
