My sister and I went there today at noon, exactly. We arrived and were seated promptly, in the weird corner near the register by the bathrooms. We were ok but not asked what to drink, so we assumed our waitress would arrive and help us. First thing we noticed was the menu was completely changed, having removed the one item we were there for. After 15 minutes we rose our brows as to where our waitress would be to offer us drinks. 15 more minutes pass, so 30 in total, and we finally deduced we’ve been forgotten. We also heard an old couple ask a waitress to be helped as they must have been in the same boat as us. Except, we’re Not ones to ask people to do their job, seeing as we already were disappointed by the food options. We discussed amongst ourselves, and decided the establishment had lost our business, and we were going elsewhere. We put the menus down and got up and left. Not one word said to us by any employee other than the hello when we first entered. We went to Key City and were seated served and we ate and left all in less than the time we sat at Perkins waiting. I don’t advise people to go to Perkins. Only for older people who don’t know the track of time that’s being wasted.

Generally decent food, but 2 times my dessert was messed up. First chocolate silk was melting and didn’t taste right and they replaced it. My next visit the strawberry pie had no crust or filling, just strawberries. The replacement had crust and about a tablespoon of filling. The waitress was good, but bad experience with dessert two times in a row… I’m done.
