A relative recommended this restaurant to us and I thought we were in for a BBQ joint. What a delightful surprise The Perfect Pig ended up being! A charming restaurant next to Shunk Gulley, more on the upscale side. They DO take reservations, which was a huge plus, and the menu had everything from shrimp and grits, to crabcakes and filet! Our party of 9 was able to sample some excellent fare, including the Rosemary bread an as appetizer, and the Bananas foster beignets, which were to die for!! Kids menu had lots of options, and the craft cocktails were fun to try. Overall an excellent end to our beach vacation, we will definitely be back!

My wife’s shrimp meal was delicious and looked great. My chicken was undercooked and was sent back to the kitchen. It always makes me nervous to send food back but the staff was excellent and it came out good. The atmosphere is great.

Best blueberry muffin I’ve ever had and the Maple bacon was SO good. Yes it took a while for the food to come out but the people that work there are so nice….worth the wait. Good food smiling and kind service….what more is there? Going back again this morning

The food is decent. The decor is welcoming and the place is clean. The service is friendly, but slow. It felt like we just waited and waited and waited, and it wasn’t even busy. Then after we finally got to order, the server had to come back and tell us that multiple items we ordered weren’t available, which was frustrating. The vanilla pancakes were good. The pulled pork sandwich was good, coleslaw not so much. The omelette was OK, a little greasy and mostly filled with veggies and not cheese. The cheese sprinkled on top was cold. The French toast and flavored butters are yummy and unique. The chicken and waffles were a favorite on our last visit. The serving sizes and lack of any sides are disappointing and mediocre in comparison to the prices. We’ve been several times to the various locations and some items are outstanding, others fine, but there seems to be some inconsistency. We’ll probably return at some point because we live nearby but it isn’t a first choice anymore.

By far the best restaurant food I’ve ever had. Great brunch spot. Great live music as well.

Went here a couple of years ago and got the steak, it was awesome. Came back today and they completely changed the menu and upped the prices. Got the only steak on the menu and it was a disappointment. Asked for medium and there was no pink. Flavors did not match well and it was probably 3 times as expensive as it should have been. Service was great. Food was meh.

I ate here 3 times during my week long trip to 30a and loved this place! My favorite cocktails were the Black Swan and That Peach Thang. Their rustic bread is served warm and pairs well with the goat cheese (better than the pita chips in my opinion). The brisket nachos and fig flatbread are enough to feed 3 people all together! The pork medallions were a little small, however the grits mixed with balsamic vinegar and scallions was an incredible combination. The open faced shrimp sandwich was delicious as well but would go better with ciabatta or focaccia bread instead of brioche. The entire staff was wonderful, Josh the manager was very helpful but the real MVP is Hector! He’s funny, kind and patient. Outdoor seating available.

This is by far the best restaurant on 30a. The restaurant has consistently provided the most amazing food for years, with top notch service. Family favorites that never disappoint are the grouper risotto, pork burger, pork medallions, and definitely don’t skip on the rosemary bread appetizer. They should sell their bread alone to all the lackluster Italian joints around. I’m going to mention the pan seared grouper risotto once more because it deserves to be praised more. Incredible job as always by the chef

They have a great brunch, we love the piano music & atmosphere here. I especially like their biscuits & breakfast scramble. Been coming for 5 years and will continue.

Everything was fantastic. We had a party of eight, hardly any wait. Everyone at the table ordered something different Grouper bites, brisket flat bread, shrimp and grits, potato stuffed grouper, nachos and crab cakes. We all tried everything and couldn’t say enough about how good the food is. The fresh London is a good choice if you need a cocktail. Five stars all around.
