Small pizza place. Walked there from our hotel because road was under construction. To be honest was just hoping for something edible.We definitely got surprised pizza was great. 2 different pizzas both were Awesome. Nuked some 2 days later…….just as good. If your ever in Allendale, Mi. Go get some. 3 for atmosphere because it’s tiny and hardly anyone was there. However they did have 7 pickup orders while we were waiting.

The quintessential small town pizzeria! The pizza’s are better than any national chain, better cheese, better sauce, and that crust doesn’t need 10 different flavors to be delicious. A steaming hot Peppino’s Express Stromboli is as good as it gets! The flavor and juices sealed up inside until it’s puffed up and golden brown… just incredible. Their Chicago style pizza is as good as any in Chicago, their Detroit style is as good as any in Detroit. Being that they’ve been in that local community for longer than you’ve been alive and that Peppino’s has opened a new Sports Grill in town, Peppino’s Express isn’t geared for dine in as much as it is for take out, but enjoying a pizza in their small dining room as the local community files in and out grabbing their favorite take out is actually a cool experience. There is a somewhat nostalgic feel to it, all they’d need is a pinball machine.

I have only recently started getting pizza here. Over all, the food has been excellent at all locations I visited. I’m glad they have multiple locations in Allendale, but it became a bit confusing when I tried to return to the one that I first stopped at. I can tell that these people have figured out how to take care of a busy college town on a Friday night!
