Super disappointed. Rice was unseasoned and plain (uncle Ben’s bagged rice); the steakums style meat was minimal. My meal was heavy rice and banana peppers. I ordered each bean and maybe had a few nibbles. Asked for cheese, lettuce, salsa and sour cream and it was super minimal. Lettuce is cheap! Black olives were heavy but that was ok. Sour scream was like a ketchup packet full. Was hoping for more but I just feel this was poor product rations.

I grew up about 90 miles from Philadelphia and I can confirm that Pepperjax has a world class cheesesteak. Delicious bread, perfectly seasoned meat, and fresh vegetables. The cheesesteaks are also made to order. The fries are really good too and generously portioned. I have been going to this place for about a decade and cannot recall ever being disappointed. Good stuff.

The drive thru style may fly in a different state where they don’t know different, but quality has suffered. Hard to hold the price against them because everything is getting to be outrageous. Still, it’s hard to justify $15 for what has been diluted to just another fast food joint.

ordered 2 sandwiches through the drive thru. The buns were very dry and hard on the ends. The meat on the chicken and beef phillies were over cooked and dry. We do not do fast food very often and expected a better quality than what we received. It is not the first time we have had their sandwiches but these were terribly disappointing.

The service was great! But my Philly steak was very overcooked. The meat was very dark and chewy. I honestly couldn’t chew through a lot of the steak meat, and the fries were old and soggy. I was disappointed because I’ve had fresh PJS and normally love the food.

First, I refuse to trade with any retail establishment that airs Fox News to the public, so we won’t be back. Secondly this is basically self-serve, order at the register, dine in, and bus your own table after you are done eating type of set up. WHY ARE WE ASKED IF WE WANT TO LEAVE A TIP AT THE REGISTER? WHAT SERVICE EXACTLY ARE WE TIPPING? Are we being asked to subsidize your payroll, or just increasing your profit? You might want to nix this as well.

I just left and got back to work, to open up my bowl with zero beans when I asked for extra beans. Like come on. 🙁

The food is good ask for light seasoning or it will be waaay too salty. The customer service sucks, I went through the drive thru said “Hello” and had to wait almost 10 minutes before someone responded (I did drive around twice to make sure they were not closed.) When they did come on the speaker they didn’t even apologize for not answering. This is not the first time, love the food but the service sucks.

I went through the drive-thru, I think that’s where it went wrong. The menu is limited in the drive-thru. So when they asked me what I wanted in my rice bowl I didn’t know exactly what my options were. If you go online or in the dining room you have all your options available to you. So when I got my bowl I knew couple of things were missing from what I usually get. I was disappointed bc it didn’t taste the same. So next time I’ll go in or online.

The food is good, bit different ordering than a usual pepperjax where they cook in front of you. But this location has the MOST STICKEST surfaces ever. The tables, chairs, high chairs, counters and the floor are so sticky. Made us not really want to eat at the table.
