A very delicious and affordable, authentic Szechuan restaurant in the galleria neighborhood. The food was very delicious, and the service was incredibly quick. The waitstaff are very friendly as well. Pepper Twins has a very good selection of non-spicy dishes as well, for those who prefer milder food. A definite gem in the neighborhood!

First time at Pepper Twins. Great quality and delicious tasting food. Pepper Twin shrimp, spicy cucumbers, General Tao chicken and hot and sour soup were fantastic! Thank you for being one of the last restaurants to keep large, good quality shrimp in your shrimp dishes. So many have gone cheap with small , fishy shrimp.

Ever since this restaurant change the new owner. The food quality and reputation went straight down to hell. The new female owner spoke broken English with no one can’t understand her. She is extremely rude and unreasonable. And she raised all the price on the menu. As you can see the reply back on the review comment section. She has an IQ of -100 and no manner at all. Please do not come here and waste ur money. Its not worthy

Delicious and reasonably priced! We had hot and sour soup….an order has enough for 2, chicken with broccoli and jasmine tea. Excellent food and service, a nice tea selection and beautifully painted lamps.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this restaurant. A pleasant surprise! Delicious and dishes that I wasn’t familiar with. I have tried many dishes now and plan to eat my way through the menu! Great variety and scrumptious flavors. Very generous portions, making everything good value for money.

Peking duck was pretty good, very comparable to Beijing. The price includes the wraps and duck soup, very decently priced. The taste for other dishes are quite good, very authentic and I recommend the dry hot pot as well (not pictured here). A couple of things I tried here (crispy durian dessert, cold spicy chicken dish) didn’t hit the target of the taste perfectly, but overall good. I’d give a 4.5 star if possible but 5 here since the atmosphere is quite clean and service is decent.

I ordered the broccoli and mushrooms…it tasted bland vegetables coated in extra strong nut. I ate a single piece of broccoli and mushroom and asked them very kindly to take it away and I will order something else. They refused and had an arrogant attitude about it. They left the plate on my table as added insult. My dear friend felt do bad she ordered something else for me. I have never had this arrogance with any dining establishment. I will not dine there again. The fried rice and spicy shrimp my friend ordered was good…however the dismissive arrogance is utterly wrong.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. Absolutely horrendous. You’d think the whole idea behind “lunch special” was a smaller portion, but with choice of soup and rice, and add on an eggroll. Nope! This place actually ADDED $2 for the “lunch special” and gave me a huge portion that I couldn’t finish (and I didn’t want to take the rest of it home because it was insanely, off-the-charts SPICY but the menu gave no indication of that). No choice in soup, no choice in rice. Service was horrible…the lady’s broken English was with a severely thick accent and I could not understand her AT ALL. Oh wait, there’s more! She gave me sweet tea but didn’t bother telling me, so I asked for some sweetener, added it, and gagged. You’d think she would have used her one IQ point to realize that I was sweetening tea that was already extremely sweet. Lastly, I waited 15 minutes just to pay up – and I paid way more than this place deserves. Every menu option was severely overpriced. I WILL NEVER, EVER SET FOOT IN THIS JOKE OF A PLACE AGAIN. ZERO stars!!!!!!

What Happened?!!! Long-time customer of Cooking Girl & Pepper Twins. Pepper Twins on San Felipe used to be great but they’ve INCREASED PRICES and REDUCED PORTIONS SIGNIFICANTLY. Sorry that we won’t be ordering there anymore.
