I realize I’m in Maine… but this is NOT Mexican food. It was unseasoned hamburger and soggy flour tortilla for the carne burrito. Stuffed poblanos was actually frozen jalapeño poppers. The beans look like bean pure’. The 80/90s rock blaring should have been the give away. The staff was cool. But the food NO THANK YOU

I really hate to leave a 1 star. The people are very friendly. But the title of the restaurant is misleading. I came in speaking Spanish and nobody knew Spanish and they didn’t have any clue what basic authentic Mexican dishes were. The food is TERRIBLE. Not authentic Mexican food at all. On a good note the building is well decorated and clean. The staff are very friendly and nice.

I really want to like this place. The staff is very friendly, the service was really good, and the atmosphere is great, however, the food is just ok.

It was okay. My partner had veggie fajitas, I had enchiladas. Both entries were okay. Fajitas only came with 2 tortillas. Nacho app was disappointing. There was no love given to these nachos. It was just cheese melted with small spats of salsa. It reminded me of a snack I’ve made at 2 am in the microwave. House margs were also okay. Good beans and rice. Staff was lovely, and the dining area was clean. I would also add that we did show up about 30 minutes before closing. I hate doing that.

Light on gluten-free and dairy-free options, but what they have was very good. Nice staff and overlooks some of Bangor.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a 1 star review but this place is truly deserving. The food was bland, with a weird consistency and tasted highly processed. Everything tasted like it came from a can, jar, or was frozen. Nothing tasted freshly made. We ordered an appetizer and two different entrées. Everything was gross. Neither of us finished our meals. The waitress didn’t even ask how our meal was, I’m assuming because she already knew… its a disgrace to call this a Mexican restaurant and I cannot believe it has over 4 stars on Google. PLEASE, if you want fresh authentic Mexican food, drive to the other side of town. Far better options in Bangor.

Really disappointed on Cinco De Mayo… Pepino’s is by far my favorite place to get Margaritas. I always get no ice as they are to go and they are always 3/4 full. When I asked today they told me what they gave me is standard. As a frequent customer just a tad disappointed on this holiday.

Real expensive for what you get. The $6 kids meal was a good laugh when I opened the container.

I have enjoyed your restaurant since it opened in South Brewer. I ordered a chicken and beef taco yesterday and found them both to be bland and the meat was cold. The cheese was barely sprinkled on the top. The soft taco shell was so thin it could not be lifted without falling apart. I am sad to say that this was an experience I was not expecting.

Food was not great definitely not authentic Mexican. Olives tasted bad never have I tasted an olive like that. Rice was hard. If you’re looking for a place to drink this might be the place for you but as far as food I’d skip eating here. Their drink menu is bigger than their food menu. That should have been a red flag. Oh well.
