Still the same quality good and people that work there. It was 12 years.sunce I was back in Louisiana, and I was pleased that this place was just as amazing now as it was then.

Super small Mexican joint in Haughton, LA. Fast and friendly service. The salsa is excellent. The cilantro is a nice variation to what I’m used to when eating salsa. The chips need work though. Need more thickness and crunch. Plenty of variety to choose from the menu. The prices I thought were a bit steep considering what you’ll getting. Nonetheless the food was good and I’ll be coming back more for the chips and salsa more than anything. Enjoy my foodie connoisseurs

This place is amazing. I wasn’t dipping my chips in the salsa … I was literally drinking the salsa. So good. So spicy. So glorious. So …. SALSY.

This used to be our “go to” place. My sister has gone here regularly for many years. We were there a few weeks ago with her son and our Mom. My sister and I had cheese enchiladas with red sauce and my nephew had chicken enchiladas with green sauce. We each asked for extra sauce when we ordered. The red ones came with about a tablespoon on them and my nephew’s had maybe three drops, NOT exaggerating. We asked for more sauce and the VERY unfriendly waitress brought us each a small bowl. We were charged three dollars each for them, for what should’ve been there to begin with. There was one other table occupied while we were there. The TV had cartoons on SO loud it was nerve racking. We asked the unfriendly waitress if she could please turn it down. Never happened. We have always loved this place and their red sauce is great but we found another place today, Taqueria San Miguel off of Barksdale Blvd. It was better than Pepes and had MUCH friendlier service with Mexican music playing at a very acceptable volume.

Great restaurant tucked away off the road. Service was very fast. Seriously, we had our food in under 5 minutes after ordering, despite the decent crowd inside. The chips were very fresh and slightly thinner, which I like. The salsa had a pleasant kick to it but not so much that my young kid would not eat it. Definitely recommend.
