We stopped as a family of 5. It is hard to fit more than four due to the size of the place. We made it work, but it was a bit squishy.

Classic road food in the mountains of Virginia. Solid comfort food that was presented well, tasted great and everyone behind the counter was pleasant. Can’t ask for much more than that.

5 stars might be excessive but I felt the over all experience was really good. We stayed at the Travel Lodge next door so it was an easy option. We ate 4 meals there during our 3 day stay. Breakfast good and consistent. Dinners were all good as well, no complaints. The line chefs holding it down were doing a great job! Our servers were also very good and on top of it. We had a baby with us and they were great about getting her something before us to keep her happy. Nice place!!

This little dinner is a jewel. The food was amazing and the service was great. I had the Big Ranch Breakfast that consisted of country fried steak and gravy, hash browns, 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and toast, with a side of sausage. Every bite was exploding with flavor. Kudos kudos kudos! My husband and I will definitely be back next time we visit.

We’ve been here twice now and I’ve enjoyed it both times. It’s really clean and the gentleman working have always been helpful and kind. The onion rings are fantastic and the club sandwich was exactly what I wanted. We’ll definitely be back.

Bacon full of fat and undercooked, hash browns weren’t browned, and pancakes so tough you had to use a knife to cut . Pancakes would have made good substitute for shingles in hurricane areas .

The food was just okay and the server kind of forgot about us, though they seemed to love the other tables that looked to be from around here…don’t really understand that. We only talked to the server when we ordered and they never came back to give us refills, ask how we were doing, etc. Not bad but definitely not good.

Service was not good. Our waiter seemed to be very unhappy to serve. Our food did not meet our expectations.Pancakes had no taste. Orders were also served incomplete. However we felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed, so we quickly ate what we could and left. I do not recommend this diner.

The food was well worth the drive. The price was solid and the folks were nice. I’d gladly go here again. I love diners and this one lives up to it.

We really enjoy stopping here. I enjoy the meatloaf and the chili. The mac and cheese is baked and very good. Wife loves the hamburgers. Just a local diner with good food when you are passing thru the area. Large portions and good prices.
