This place was a bit fancier than I thought. Went in with shorts and hoodie but would probably come back with button down if you know what I mean. I ordered a couple beers and the steak sliders at the bar. Place was very beautifully designed and the bartenders were pleasant and well dressed. The food was presented professionally. Overall a very fine establishment!

Everything was so cute! I used that word over 10 times while eating there, but the flavor was on a whole other level! We ordered too many tapas because we were so excited, unfortunately our table wasn’t big enough for them all. Luckily they bring them out as the other tapas get finished. Unique and delicious, we will definitely be coming back!

Penny Farthing rides the bicycle lane between upper class distillery experience while still trying to seem chill. Definitely not the college brew bro scene but not actually fancy with glaring incadescents shining in fromthe still next door. If you’re forty and want to drink a nice beer away from sloppy collegiates or dudes in chacos this could be the place.

The Easter brunch was amazing! It seemed expensive, but once we saw the display it was entirely worth the price! The service was wonderful and the food was amazing! We will definitely be back.

We our bartender August was awesome! We gave him an assignment for a gin cocktail and he delivered. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The menu was interesting, and the Mezze platter and Dockside sliders were perfect as a light dinner while out on the town. Overall great vibe and fantastic experience!

This was our first visit to Penny Farthing. We had an awesome tartare special (our favorite item we ordered), a flatbread, and the papas bravas. The menu items don’t seem entirely cohesive as far as cuisine goes, but we enjoyed it overall and will definitely return!

I was super excited to check this place out, and my partner surprised me with mother’s day brunch. The food was yummy. Irish coffee was excellent and at a great price point. That said, the marketing for the event specifically mentioned kids under 5 were welcome, so we were disappointed that they didn’t have high chairs or changing tables in their restrooms. I had to change my 11- month old daughter on the toilet, which is totally doable, but also not something I like doing, especially at an event to celebrate mothers. They did have booster seats, but it felt pretty wobbly. All in all, I wish I’d tried them out at a different time so I could have had a more positive experience. I’m really bothered when places advertise as kid-friendly but won’t spend the money to be kid-friendly in action. Otherwise, the meal was great, and the waitstaff were all really lovely. Maybe I’ll try again someday.

I rarely give all 5’s, but this place has it all. Each food item had something special. I had a salad, the whisky cheese dip, and an ice cream Sunday. The staff are amazingly kind, generous with their time, and open conversation. Not only is the space pleasant, but the seats are comfortable enough to sit in for hours, as I did tonight.

Took my daughter here before a Mount Baker Theater show, just a short walk from the theater. Small but diverse menu and the presentation of the food is gorgeous. Everything tasted delicious and healthy. I left my phone in the car so I took a pic the next day of the leftovers at home lol. Deducted a star because it’s very pricey, we ordered crab cakes, steak sliders and the fancy charcuterie, along with two ipas and a rosemary lemonade and it all came to $100 plus $20 tip. Cool place for a splurge tho!

I was desperate for an event space and saw Penny Farthing mentioned in CDN. The minute I walked in, I knew that this was the space I wanted. (As a side note, this restaurant is conveniently walking distance from A New Leaf floral and Pure Bliss Desserts.)
