Went today around 3:30 and it was a ghost town (not bad, just adds context). I ordered, got my drink and sat down and waited. I was literally the only one there… yet they somehow got my sub wrong? Added things I didn’t even ask for and left off things I did ask for… I was so confused.. it was all still good, I just had to pick off the things I didn’t ask for and go ask for the things I wanted. I must add, my sub is a simple one too..

A favorite of my friends due to the good flavor of the food. Reasonable menu choices. Fries and lemonade are good. Very small dine-in area, and it can take several minutes to order and get your food if they are busy.

We keep trying to go back here because we genuinely love the food, but their hours seem to be whatever they feel like making them on that given day. We’ve looked online (it says 8pm in store too) and even called ahead to make sure they were open. 4 of the last 5 times we’ve attempted to go, they were closed before 7:30. Tonight there were people eating inside, but the doors were locked. It’s incredibly annoying.

Penn Station is my absolute favorite quick service restaurant. I don’t like to call it fast food because the ingredients are fresh and you can see them make it every step of the way, including the fresh cut french fries. I love every hot sandwich they serve which is why I order the monthly special without even looking at the menu to see what it is. I’m only giving 4 stars because the last time I went to this Chesterfield location the air conditioning was dripping on us and our table.

Have always enjoyed Penn Station, but this location is a joke. Between enough salt in the fries to dehydrate a dolphin, and Alex’s attitude towards my wife during ordering, I almost hadn’t noticed the forgotten sides. Won’t be returning to this location, and recommend taking your business elsewhere as well if you intend to have a quick, pleasant, and friendly evening meal.
