This location has gone so down hill it just needs to close. My last few visits were getting bad but today was just disgusting to the point I need to leave a 1 star. No clue how anyone can come back to this place. Ordered online. Came in 25 minutes after I ordered. Still had to wait a solid another 20 minutes. People walking in and ordering was getting their food before me and I ordered online. How does that make sense? Then both kids behind the counter are not wearing hair nets or anything. The cook has frenzy hair and the helper has long hair down his back. The cook has a I don’t care attitude about everything. The floor is sticky. All over. In fact the last few visits the floor has been bad. So they don’t clean. And the location is also falling apart and is dirty. Ceiling tiles. The pop and garbage area was gross and dirty. If u can’t find good help. Then don’t open.

Here’s what you need to know: love this Penn Station. Gets busy during the day but Orion, Amanda, and Drew were just so incredible running the line, register, and just providing really good customer service – engaging and welcoming. Just so impressed and made us feel very valued. Great job!

A 20 minute jaunt from my job to get here. Arrived at 1 on a Thursday… empty and serene as can be.

I’ve been missing this place so much and one week ago marked the first time in maybe 3 years I’ve had a PS sub since the only 2 locations (Grayslake and Gurnee) in Lake County closed around that time.

Although the food was good the place is down right filthy. None of the tables were wiped down, food on the chairs, condiment station not wiped and garbage on it. Walking on the floors ?? Your foot kept sticking to the floor as probably from soda. Place had no business so they had plenty of time to take 5mins to wipe things clean 7158 needs a managerial intervention

Worst service I’ve ever seen! Took 30 minutes to get two subs. Workers walking around in a daze with AirPods in not a care in the world. Then the subs weren’t the right size and made them wrong. Completely incompetent, 0/10 all around!

Even if this place had 1 customer keeping them open that person would be me. I haven’t had a sandwich from penn station since I was back in my home state. I didn’t know there was one here until a few weeks ago. I had the best customer service, my sandwich was literally the only thing that helped me feel better after my mental breakdown. Thanks bros. Also we saw a bunch of kids steal your sizzle happens sign while we were eating in the car i hope you get it back
