This place used to be amazing but they have all new people working in there now and it has going straight downhill. I ordered a chicken philly. Looked at my picture and see if that looks like chicken to you? They need to learn how to clean their grill. It is absolutely nasty and I can’t imagine how it is safe to eat from. To the owners of this place, I have been an extremely loyal customer. I’ve spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars at this location over the years but you better train your employees better or get new ones. If this keeps up people will go elsewhere including me.

Ordered online. Arrived a little early and they were not busy. Told my food was getting made. They got a little rush…..still not busy. They forgot about my order sitting on the counter. Now I’ve got cold food and all they say was sorry. Nope not an excuse.

Everytime I go my sandwich is incorrect. They fix it everytime but there is always a bit of a wait so its irritating to have to wait again for them to remake it. I always get a club with meat & honey mustard only. I’m not sure why that’s hard to make.

Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in Tennessee.

Sandwiches are rarely correct. They won’t take orders at 8:30pm even on nights they close at 10:00pm. No one at the store ever answers the phone, even during business hours. The owner is very nice and has tried to make things right multiple times for sandwiches with mistakes but the frequency of incorrect orders has gotten ridiculous (and the tickets show the correct order but the sandwich is not what’s in the ticket). My family eats at other Penn Station locations across town regularly but the Hermitage location is closest to our house and it’s very frustrating that this location has such horrible customer service time and time again. Will continue eating elsewhere but officially have sworn off this location if I’m having to pay for it.

Arrived at 8pm on a Friday. They waited until we ordered our sandwiches to tell us they were “out of fries”. There were a lot of potatoes in plain view, so I asked her how they were “out of fries”. The cashier looked frustrated that I asked and proceeded to tell me that by the time they made them, they would be closed-but they close at 10pm. Terrible customer service and took forever to make our sandwiches. Would not recommend this Penn Station location to anyone!

The sandwiches are always fresh- made to order, and the fries are delicious. It’s the closest thing I can find to an authentic cheese steak from PA/NJ/DE!

Mediocre subs at best, and priced way too high for what you get.

Lots of fruit flies by the drink station and that’s pretty gross. I didn’t get a drink because of this. Also, the floor was kinda dirty upon walking in. My sandwich (philly steak) was wet somehow and it soaked the bread. Bad experience all around.

Great lunch, nice and fresh. I need to remember to specify no sauces on the Philly.
