We went to Penn station East Coast subs for dinner today. I got the Ham and Swiss sub and the fries. It was very good, The steak fries had been dropped fresh and made it order right before pick up. The Ham and Swiss sub had just the right amount of lettuce and Mayo on it, And the bread was fresh. I did not have to wait very long. The store was clean and neat. The staff were prompt and courteous. If you like subs, this is a great place to try, and I do recommend it.

I used to love Penn Station, not any more this meal was disgusting. Fries are almost burnt and sandwich has grease puddles in tray and taste awful. This mess cost me 20bucks which is stupid for a sandwich fries and a drink. Go elsewhere or be disappointed….

Stopped in for take out for three of us. Service was fast and efficient, they even brought my chips to me when I left them on the counter. They could be friendlier, but they were busy on a Sunday afternoon. I had a small Reuben, Kristin had a cheese steak, and Meredith had turkey and provolone. The sandwiches were served fairly quickly. If you are looking for a quick bite, the small makes a nice snack, but only a large will only satisfy a big, hungry fella. The freshly cut fries were cooked to perfection- hot and delicious. The bread is dense, like a fried yeast ball. and the meat needs more seasoning. Not the best, but not the worst. If you found this review helpful please click like.

Took 25 minutes for cold sandwiches. 5 people behind us got served before us. Fries are green, meaning not ripe potatoes are being used. 7 open tables, so not that busy. 3 on staff with no sense of urgency. Large outdoor sports complex next door, should not be surprised by a larger Saturday volume of people. Won’t be back.

I came for lunch ordered ham and Swiss with only meat cheese oregano mayo ranch and vinegar… The whole order was wrong in which I noticed after I got to work. I called and young man was rude telling me he placed my order then telling me that’s what it comes with smartly even saying next time you should say you only want these items on the sandwich. This is my last time going to this penn station in Franklin. He stated he was new and kept cutting me off with my conversation. I can’t eat tomatoes and I don’t care for lettuce on my wrap… HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERBICE

So tonight I decided to try something new at Penn Station. I’d previously only had a Reuben or cheese steak sandwich. So I saw the Dagwood and thought all those meats sounded good. So I ordered a grilled Dagwood with Mayo and mustard. The nice young man behind the counter verified that I wanted Mayo and mustard only. Yes I said. So my families food comes out slowly, one sandwich at a time. Mine is last by about 5 minutes. Low and behold it’s a bun with only Mayo and mustard. I asked if he really thought I paid $9.49 for a bun with Mayo and mustard, yes he said. To his credit they remade it with all the meats listed as I thought it came. Lesson learned.

I’ve really wanted to like this place, but it just misses the mark. Our first visit when they opened was good, but it’s gone down hill since. Tonight, I ordered subs and fries for my family. Subs were so so, but appear to be WAY smaller than they used to be. Two large fries, which used to be an overflowing bag full, was barely enough for 3 of us. As the picture shows the cups weren’t even full, and the fries were cold and appeared to be the leftovers. And those fries cost $13. Never again.

1st time I went (dine in) was an overall awful experience. Food was sloppy and cold, and took forever. Thought I might wait a few weeks before eating there again they were still newly opened.

Deli meats used very good quality with fresh made sub role. We had order a club sub and they forgot the bacon. Had to much mayo on my ham and Swiss sub for my taste. Took long time for them to make two subs even though not very busy. Fries were good.

So much potential, but poor management and inconsistent effort ruins the product. The first two times I went I had a great sandwich and perfect fries. But each time after [4] the sandwich got worse & worse. No consistency in quality. I order the same one every time, toasted. Each time it was less toasty and less tasty. The fries are always good, but I don’t go here for fries. I say poor management b/c if the leadership was good then they’d have a consistent product.
