We went to Penn Station for the second time, but it was our first time at this location. We expected to wait for about 30 minutes, which is the average wait from our previous visit. However, we were disappointed with the food quality when we received our order. I ordered the Steak Sub wrap, which turned out to be a cold cut, and the fries, my wife ordered the ParmesanWrap, but thefries were cold and stale. Maybe the dine-in customers get fresher fries and take-out customers getold fries, which seemed unfair. My wife asked for a replacement of our fries, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. And gave us new fries, which were just warm. However, we still did not enjoy the sandwich, and we also noticed that the portions were smaller than what we had in Chapel Hill Penn Station and higher. We appreciated the customer service, but we were not satisfied with the food at this location.

Standing at counter waiting for order I saw half eaten cheese sandwich on tray with fresh bread they were making sandwiches with last time I visited that concerned me and lost my appetite … DESPARATE because it’s HPU only location, get it to go or just sit while you wait for order….walking to cashier unfortunately Visibly seeing behind counter where you place order in this store you may notice it’s not clean. People that’s don’t eat pork may as well forget it because the grill isnt set up to respect contamination especially if the guy that drips sweat cooking on the grill!! NO THANKS I’ll pass on the sweat sub

Went in at 11 on the dot and it took 18 minutes for one sub and small fry to be made. Not trying to knock the bigger guy working in there but every time I go in he’s drenched in sweat and cooking the food. I saw the sweat fall off his face onto the food. Put that man on the cash register and let someone else make the food.

I ordered a small Ruben and a small BLT. Boy was the BLT in fact small. The Ruben was great, but the BLT was lacking. 3 pieces of bacon, small tomatoes, and sad lettuce that had to be picked off. We even had to make more bacon just to make it worthwhile. I have eaten at this location before and I expected more.

Philly cheese steak Always tastes Devine. Call ahead of time tends to be a bit of wait. Be sure to check order, some have a tendency to put things on your sandwich you requested to leave off. (Especially if you have allergies) Careful with the fries they are only good on the day you order. Really hard the day after.

I attempted to go here tonight around 7:30pm and order a cheesesteak and was told they were out of onions and mushrooms because they were closing early. The sign says that they are open until 10 so this caught me off guard. The girl taking my order acted as if me coming in 2 and a half hours before they are supposed to close was an inconvenience. I ended up leaving and going elsewhere, where my business would be appreciated.

They have delicious Subs and hand-cut fries, I would have rated them 5 stars, but without coupons they are a little pricey, and wait times can be up to 15 minutes – a little bit long for a sub sandwich. If you’ve got the time and don’t mind spending a little extra change definitely check this place out
